House vacation rentals in Fairlie

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at James's place and it was equally as good as the 1st time. For us Racing at Levels was magic, just being down the road. We were able to relax within a few minutes of the track. Plenty of room for a big Race Trailer. James a very responsive host and very helpful with early check in and being able to leave the trailer for an extra couple of hours after checkout. If James will have us & the house is free we will definately be staying again

We loved our stay at Kakahu lodge. It’s the second time I’ve stayed here, this time it was a work retreat. We made use of the pool, outdoor dining and pizza oven, kitchen with everything you can think of (two dishwashers was so handy), and the open fireplace. Large spaces were perfect for a group and the linen and beds were comfy and high quality. Richard is so helpful and lovely too even ensuring we had plenty of kindling for the pizza oven 😊

Great peaceful rural location! Fantastic to see an old school classroom being utilised as accommodation. We really enjoyed the fire and bedrooms were warm with electric blankets and heaters. Bathroom had a lovely hot shower. We took our bikes and enjoyed biking around the rural roads. The Methven hot pools and Mayfield Panther pub are both worthy of visiting by car. Ideal for young families and we are keen to visit again in summer to try out the school pool! Thanks Deborah for your prompt clear communication.

A beautiful home with a truly spectacular view!! It felt so peaceful to sit in front of the fireplace and just look out over the lake. It was more than enough space for the 5 of us to really relax. Hot tub was a great bonus!

This house is just a 27-minute drive outside of Tekapo. We were initially looking into staying at Tekapo but didn’t manage to find “the one” so we explored the towns just outside and found this beautiful place. This house is in the perfect location! This house was well thought of all the floor to ceiling windows just makes you enjoy the view. It snowed on the first night and it felt like we were inside a snow globe - magical! Beds were comfortable, bathrooms had all we needed and the kitchen is well equipped. Definitely worth the drive and worth every penny. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back! ❤️

The views are even better in person—pictures don’t do it justice! The place was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for anyone looking to relax or explore nature. From peaceful mornings with a hot drink by the window to stargazing at night, every moment felt magical. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with world-class views. Listing was as described. Simiin was nice and welcoming. A little thrown off at first by separate hot and cold water sinks at faucets (so hard to get warm water), but soon learned that’s pretty common in NZ. Location was nice, right across street from Lake Tekapo.

Great cottage, perfect for exploring the Ashburton Lakes area. Loved the fire.

Absolutely amazing house! Perfect for families and friends to stay together! Unfortunately the lake is currently unable to be used due to Toxic levels of Algae . But that didn't stop us from using the lakeside Spa, and enjoying the stunning view!

This is an amazing Airbnb! It is nicer and more beautiful than the pictures show. Such a comfortable and clean stay. Watched a spectacular sunset from the back porch. Would definitely return and recommend!

Debbie’s place is perfect in every way we could ever imagine. it’s of a good size for us a family of 3, very clean and super cosy. the heated floor was fantastic, especially for us during winter since it was -4° on some nights while we were there. even 4nights wasn’t enough, we felt right at home. we highly recommend Debbie’s place, without a doubt. simply perfect!

Perfect space for us four wāhine escaping the city. Close enough to Methven to enjoy the pools and eateries, far away enough to enjoy unpolluted night skies, and serene views
