Beautiful home in country. The bed was comfortable and room clean with nice ensuite. We didn’t get to meet our hosts but they left clear instructions to get in. They left us coffee, tea, toast and cereal for morning.

An outdoor gravelled area features a round table surrounded by two chairs. A wooden fence encloses the space, providing privacy. Sunlight creates a warm atmosphere on the gravel, enhancing the setting for outdoor relaxation.

John and Mary were so lovely and welcoming! The room was very clean and the perfect amount of space for the two nights we were there. They gave us a breakfast which was perfect, and answered any questions that we had about Portlaoise! Portlaoise is a quiet town and it’s hard to find things to do if you don’t have a car, but our stay was great! John and Mary were wonderful and I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through Portlaoise!
