Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Fairfield

We have stayed at a number of Airbnbs and this is one we would definitely consider returning to in the future. The price was right and Alyson was super responsive to the couple of questions we had. Everything was really clean, the space was very comfortable, and we really liked the kitchen and the back family room area. There wasn't anything lacking in the kitchen and the fact that there was a washer and dryer really put it at the top of our list for return visits.

Host was very nice. The place was exactly what we needed. I would stay there again if we are going to be in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic house. It is full of character: we especially loved the massive fireplace where meals were presumably prepared back when it was an inn in the 1700s. It is also ridiculously spacious and very well furnished and equipped for a group of 10: the dining table easily seats 10, there is ample comfortable seating in the living room (not to mention at least 3 other sitting rooms one could gather in), and 8 of us were simultaneously cooking in the kitchen without anyone bumping elbows. Cooking here is a dream: there is a 6-burner+grill stove, 2 ovens, and all the equipment you could want (including a KitchenAid stand mixer and Vitamix blender). Moreover, Carly was an excellent host: she was always quick to respond, her messages were clear, and she generously allowed us to stay an extra hour to make our timing work out well. We highly recommend this house and would love to return.

⸻ Great Stay in a Lovely Black Rock Neighborhood We really enjoyed our stay at 65 Calderwood Court. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had plenty of supplies, and the beds were cozy after a full day of exploring. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Seabright Beach and close to local shops and restaurants. Staying during Black Rock Day was a nice bonus; we could easily join in the festivities and then retreat to a quiet, comfortable home. Allie was responsive and made the check-in process smooth. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and we’d happily stay here again when visiting the area.

We needed a place for 3 people close to the Hartford Amphitheater and this was the best option available for 16 hours in Bridgeport! It would be tight for a long visit with more than 2 adults. The apartment was completely as described and Natalie was very communicative. The neighborhood is full of Spanish-speaking restaurants, grocery store, gas stations, etc. it was an easy Uber to the Amtrak station, the Hartford Amphitheater, and downtown Bridgeport.

Super great place with lovely sunset and super walkable everywhere. Jin was very responsive, thoughtful and helpful with anything we needed. She even provided baby shower wash!

Kristine’s place was absolutely wonderful! Great location and house was fully stocked with everything you needed.

Our stay was stunning. The location is quiet and peaceful yet close enough to the town to get what you may need. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous. It’s clean, the layout is beautiful, and the views are out of this world. A truly incredible place to stay. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was perfect, and each room has a full bath which was great for our family. Overall highly recommend

It was clear that the host put thought into making guests feel welcome—there was a mini chocolate bar and a bottle of water waiting for each of us when we arrived, which was such a kind touch after a long day of travel. Check-in was smooth, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. While we didn’t spend much time there beyond resting, it was the perfect place to recharge. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and cozy spot!

These hosts take great care in making sure their guests feel welcome and at home. The apartment is cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed to relax after a couple of busy days. Their communication is top notch. And I cannot finish without mentioning the thoughtful snacks. That was really above and beyond - and very appreciated.

This place was very cozy and clean. I enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the location was and wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the backyard with our son. It was a perfect place to stay the night for our trip to a Yankees game!

Nice condo with great amenities. Within walking distance to many great places. What I was most impressed by was their “guest portal” that included very detailed check-in instructions, answers to commonly asked questions, and suggestions for restaurants etc. That, along with the hosts quick responses, made everything easy. The little extras like toothbrushes, toothpaste, body lotion, makeup remover, and laundry and dishwasher detergents were also a nice touch.

We had to cut our stay short due to changes in travel plans, which was a pity because it was a really lovely and very comfortable place. I would strongly recommend it and hope to stay longer next time.

The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating. The property and the space were gorgeous. The amenities were top notch and the kitchen ( which we took full advantage of ) had everything we needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone in need of a peaceful private getaway.

Dawn and Bob’s place is one of the top Airbnb’s we have stayed in! Top notch in every way. It was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. And on top of that Dawn and Bob were the most friendly hosts we have met! I would recommend this Airbnb without reservation and will be back whenever we are back in CT!

We really enjoyed staying at Patrick’s place. It was private, quiet & close to our family. He had thoughtfully supplied many kitchen supplies, dishes & everything we needed for our stay. Very organized & had many spaces to keep our things . Very comfortable apartment & smelled clean & fresh. Even had a small vacuum we could use to clean up tracked in leaves & dirt. We were there for a week & enjoyed having a stress free place to unwind!

My friend and I stayed for a short trip at Maria's location and it was exactly what we needed, a place to stay for our trip that was well kept, had amenities, and fresh linen available. Parking spot was small, but is to be expected in an attached parking garage.

Over $500 a night was very high, much higher than west Coast pricing for two bedrooms near a major university. Convenient to Yale but know that poverty has always been evident a few feet from Yale borders and much of the foot traffic consists of the homeless. Also some noise at night from passing traffic. On the plus side there’s an excellent Italian bakery/gelato cafe across the street run by a husband wife team that makes everything they serve.

Will definitely be repeat customers when we come back to CT to see friends and family. The place is exactly as described, spotless and was a home away from home. Elizabeth answered any questions quickly. Thank you for making our first experience with Air Bnb a positive one.

Great Airbnb! Great Host! Perfect for visiting West Point

Beautiful place, functional. clear and efficiently laid out. Easy to access with Subway and buses, many shop and restaurants within a short walking distance. Ann was very responsive and helpful before, and during the stay. Only challenge was to find a nearby parking stop when arriving late at night but this is to be expected in NYC.

I am new to the Stamford / Greenwich area and needed a place to stay while I looked for a permanent residence. I stayed at Juan's place for about 3.5 months. It was very convenient to Greenwich (where I work) and to downtown Stamford (restaurants and shops) and the Stamford train station, which has great express trains to NYC. It is also very close to a grocery store and several gyms (I chose Orange Theory, only a few blocks away). I chose Juan's place for the location and king size bed. The bed was very comfortable, the towels were great and the overall unit worked really well for myself and my husband - it has wifi and we connected to our Netflix & other apps thru the smart TV. It fits two people comfortably and has a pull out sofa for guests (my college-age children visited a few times). The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. There is one permanent parking space available and several guest spots. Juan was very responsive and a great host. Highly recommend!

Being welcomed by the entire family to getting end to end support during the stay, it was a great experience staying at this bnb .. amazing view , kitchen fully stacked , very prompt response , extremely helpful attitude… would recommend stay here if you want to be just around NYC but don’t want the hustle bustle of the city
