Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fairbanks

This place was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed the perks (like coffee, champagne and the hot tub). It was fun watching the plane land in the river and the river boat push by daily.

It was a great budget friendly place to stay in fairbsnks for a night with our pup. The house was about what we expected. You can tell the owners care about their guests and it’s decorated tastefully. Hard to find dog friendly bnbs.

The Farmhouse is easily the most comfortable Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The classy decor and shabby-chic furniture feels like home. Kate makes sure that the place is stocked with down bedding and fresh clean towels and linens. We really appreciated how clean the place felt, without all the toxic artificial smells of air freshener and fabric softener that many airbnbs use to mask the place not truly being clean. Kate’s farmhouse is ACTUALLY clean, it’s not cosmetically perfect but actually clean, which is what matters. Kate was so accommodating and kind to us, the next time we need a place to stay in Fairbanks, we’ll try to book her place again!! Highly recommend!

Excellent location to relax after a long day of exploring Alaska! The views are breathtaking and an extraordinary way to start and end your day. My morning coffee isn’t the same without the view of the river and mountains! The short drive to town makes it convenient for shopping or enjoying all that Fairbanks has to offer including Lulu’s bread and bagels, museum of the north, and the Tanana Valley Farmers market. We also enjoyed being able to use the gas grill and having two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The open living space surrounded by windows allowed us to enjoy the view from almost anywhere, while the longer Alaskan days helped increase the viewing time. Excellent home, great location, astounding views, hope to return!!!

We had a great stay in Fairbanks at this home. Cozy interior and enough room for 4 adults. Close to shopping and downtown Fairbanks (10 minutes). Home was as pictured and very clean inside. We made use of the convenient washer and dryer as this was the midway point of our week long road trip. Would book again.

I cannot say enough good things about this hangar home and the hosts!! 10 minutes from the airport, convenient access to everything we wanted to do, and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the curtains let us sleep well in the light. There are the planes that take off and land outside, but it was never a bother or very early or late. Most of all, Ruth and Johanna were incredibly responsive, and went above and beyond to help us out during our stay. (And their binder of local recommendations was fantastic…we tried out several and loved them all!). I hope to come back and stay longer.

We really enjoyed staying here! It was a good location pretty closer to Fairbanks but far enough out of town to feel like a woods retreat. The views from the living room window were amazing. Everything we needed for a weekend getaway was there. Thanks!

Beautiful spot on a small lake! Tucked away and yet close to many things in Fairbanks. Clean and spacious. Nice to hang out in the backyard :)

Jon’s place was in great condition and had everything we needed for our stay. The house is 5 min from a small grocery store if you need anything quick and 15 min from North Pole town. We felt safe while we stayed there and were happy with how peaceful the neighborhood was. You can see the northern lights by just stepping outside. Jon even texted us at night to let us know we could see them which was super helpful. He was accommodating and always very responsive. Checkin and checkout were also very easy and we had no problems. I would recommend staying here

She helped me during the hardest time of my life so far and has went above and beyond to make sure me and the kids had what we needed. Thank you so much! Definitely would stay here versus a hotel here.

Amazing place! So clean and well stocked. Amazing hosts that are proactive and kind. The porch is amazing and you can see Denali when it's out.

Jeremy & Jess’ place was very clean, with a cozy loft and a lovely reading nook. It’s in a great location for viewing the northern lights if you’re lucky. We had a great stay!

10/10 — we loved our stay there and our host was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Very happy with our stay and will be saving for the future :)

We had a great time and loved the space. We saw a moose nearly every day just a few hundred yards west of the property.

Brendan’s place was wonderful! We felt so at home and relaxed, that it was hard to leave and go do things! Completely stocked, comfortable bedding, nice large towels, easy in and out. We loved our stay there!

I spent 2 nights at the cabin and loved it. Joy was incredibly helpful and communicative. The views are incredible and the cabin is exactly as it is described. It was so amazing to watch the northern lights dance across the sky (and be able to jump inside to warm up every once in a while ;) ) Just a helpful tip-the listing is very accurate-you need to bring your own coffee, cups, bowls etc.

This was the perfect cabin for me and my friends first visit to Fairbanks. It had everything listed and more. So far it has been the best stay I have had due to the stocked cabinets of food and beverages. Remi and Matt were great host with check-in accommodations and communication was very responsive. I highly recommend staying here if you want to catch the aurora lights or simply be in a great location with access to everything you can do in Fairbanks. All of our expectations were met and would stay again.

Wow! We can’t say enough about Tanglewood Inn! We came here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we loved it here! It met and exceeded all of our expectations. From the easy drive and easy to get to, it was just far enough from town that we got away from the city to be able to see the lights at night, but it wasn’t too far away to come and go when we wanted to go do something or eat. Jessica has put so much thought into this place it makes you feel at home. The snacks when you arrive, the coffee pods the next morning after coming in on a late flight, the shampoo/conditioner that we didn’t have to pack on our flight there, the warmest blankets and comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed 7 days and was lucky enough to see the lights at least 4 nights from the porch and even laying in the bed our last night. Everything was perfect from details, views, advice or recommendations I highly recommend visiting Tanglewood Inn.

Beautiful and cozy cabin. If renting a car make sure it’s an AWD drive vehicle because it can be difficult to get up driveway if it is snowing or lots of ice on floor

Secluded and comfy. Clean with well thought out and tasteful decor. We loved it and wished we could stay longer.

Its a great place to stay. Very private and just 15 min away from Fairbanks. This place is also away from the city lights which makes it a great place for watching northern lights.
