Large Country Cottage + Log Fire, Fire Pit Nr Bath

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Luxurious, spacious and beautifully designed - I would thoroughly recommend Granby Cottage if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in the countryside. Although Bradford on Avon and Bath are easily accessible, so you can have the best of both worlds! Amanda and James (and their spaniels) are very friendly and helpful, and we hope to return soon. PS their dog fields are probably the best we’ve visited, and I would advise pre-booking, as they are very popular.

Hilltop House Glastonbury next to Tor with hot tub

AmyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an amazing 50th birthday party at Sophie’s house. This is a gorgeously characterful property with the most amazing gardens, 15 mins walk into Glasto and 10 mins to the torr. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. We had an early check in and late checkout for no extra cost and communication was brilliant throughout.

Stylish Rural Retreat: Hot Tub, Log Fire & Garden

JadeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My friends and I enjoyed our beautiful and quiet girls weekend away. The lodge is exactly how it’s described and looked like the pictures, very comfortable and clean stay, the hot tub is incredible. On a cloudless night you can sit back in the tub and see how clear the stars are. Lisa is a wonderful host who greeted us when we arrived to show us how to use the hot tub and gave some locations to visit. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, away from the everyday hustle and bustle of city life, recharge your energy, you need a stay here. We visited Wincanton, Sherborne and Glastonbury during our two night stay. An absolute gem of a find, friends and I would love to book again next year for a few more days, absolutely breathtaking scenery for an amazing price.

Gardener's Cottage, part of a 16th century manor.

RozanneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

Condé Nast Traveller recommend, lux bath+80”screen

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was one of my favorite Airbnb lodgings of all time. Anthony has very thoughtfully designed the space, both inside and out. Indoors, the decor is bright, eclectic, and whimsical with a cool juxtaposition of modern and vintage elements. Outdoors, there are lovely, private gardens in both the front and back of the apartment where you can sit and zone out. The welcome snacks were such a delicious and generous unexpected treat. While the apartment is private and in a rural location, it is a short drive to excellent restaurants, pubs, and attractions. We loved that we could drive 4 minutes and then take the train into Bath. Lastly, we were able to meet Anthony and he's an absolute gem of a human. This lodging comes highly recommended by me!

Oakhill Ponds – Walled Garden: yurt, tub & sauna

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Words from the youngest-"Insanity great! The gardens are so beautiful. The shower was godly—the person who built it deserves a golden trophy." Our yurt stay was magical—peaceful sky views from bed, cosy warmth, and thoughtful design. My son adored the comfy bed and soft rug, and the wood burner made evenings perfect. The shower- Majestic.Heavenly.Divine. The outdoor kitchen kept family time going through dinner prep—fully equipped and easy to use, luxurious. The record player was a sweet touch (bringing records next time!). We barely needed our supplies—towels, robes, coffee, air fryer, hot plate, and every pot and pan were provided. The wild swimming lake was clean and clear, with soft water and tadpoles resting in the shallows. A swing on a giant oak, deer wandering the land—it felt like a fairytale. Amanda and Rob were kind, relaxed, and attentive, with a strong sense of care and safety. Our son was totally at ease—he thrived in the calm. This place is magic. We’ll be back.

Should you be heading down Glastonbury way I cannot recommend highly enough that you consider staying at Caroline’s Hut in West Pennard. As fairly seasoned travelers, we use AIRBNB on every trip, and The Hut takes the prize for overall outstanding everything. From the cleanliness, clear communication and outstanding comfort, to the sheer taste of the overall home and its surroundings, we were blown away, and so happy to have made the choice that we did. We highly, highly recommend Caroline’s Hut.

Cosy 18th Century Cottage in Evercreech, Somerset

LilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Stayed for a family holiday. We absolutely loved Anna's place. A really beautiful cottage - just as described, lovely garden, really spacious rooms. Not too cluttered but also homely. Lovely king-sized bed in main bedroom, all the towels and bed linen were good quality. Very child friendly - great selection of kids books, baby bath, travel cot and high chair. Very well stocked kitchen which was really helpful. Evercreech itself is a lovely village - quiet and picturesque, but also really handy to have a decent Co-op, sandwich shop, local chippy and children's playground a few minutes walk just down the road. Anna gave some really nice local recommendations for places to eat (we really enjoyed the Red Lion in Babcary) and walks. Anna was also very responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again!

Everything supplied was of quality and we had everything we could possibly need. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and spent a long time wandering through them, sitting in the chair swing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Sarah was lovely, very helpful and accommodating. I would happily go back and would recommend to any couple looking for peace and relaxation in a wonderful setting.

Thank you so much for your warm hospitality! We had such a lovely stay at your place – it was clean, cozy, and very comfortable for our whole family. The kids especially loved the farm experience – they were so excited to feed the alpacas, sheep, donkey, and fish. It was a real highlight for them! And the fresh eggs were such a treat – thank you again. It was a pleasure meeting you both, and we truly appreciated the kind welcome. We’re already looking forward to visiting again in the future! Brillant thanks of Martin.
