We had a great time at this beautiful typical Basque country house. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home: everything is perfectly thought out, nothing is missing. The garden is beautiful, a true haven of peace. Reading in a deckchair listening only to the birdsong, with the soothing sound of church bells in the distance, is simply magical. And what can I say about the hosts: welcoming, friendly and really very nice, they greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. A place where you can fully recharge. Lovely apartment and very comfortable. Pretty, rural location. Had everything we needed. Host was very helpful, although we could not speak Spanish, we managed okay with the help of our phones. No complaints.

We had a great stay at Tom's place. The apartment and the garden were very comfortable and a short walk away from the beautiful beach of Marinella. Tom was a wonderful host with good tipps and advice. Biarritz and Bayonne are close by and San Sebastian can be reached within 45 min. We hope to return someday!

We had a fantastic stay in this cottage just outside Espelette. The cottage itself is super neat, quietly located and equipped with every comfort. What makes this place extra special is the hospitality of our host. She had all kinds of local delicacies prepared for us upon arrival — a really warm welcome. During our stay, she thought of everything with us and did everything to make us happy. That made it very personal and pleasant.

Teddy and Alice were extremely nice and welcoming, their studio is very cozy, brand new, spotless clean with an amazing back garden. Hope to come back here one day, we had a perfect stay!

We came for a wedding. The hospitality of Virginia who was very attentive, her house tastefully decorated, and smells wonderfully good to add extra sweetness to our weekend. The bedding is just as good as that of hotels, because it's great! We slept really well! We recommend this place without a second thought. And with a little luck, you'll be able to see rabbits in the evening or early in the morning, just like we did. And you can even enjoy the small solar lights installed in the garden that add charm to the garden.

This was my second stay at Marta's place, and definitely not the last! Just like the first time, everything was smooth and top-notch. Despite the 35+ degree heat outside, the apartment stayed surprisingly cool even without AC. The location is unbeatable - we explored plenty of must-see spots nearby and enjoyed the local beach just a short walk away (it's actually 5 min drive away and has a big parking lot as well). Communication was great as always, the place was spotless, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. If you're looking for a modern, clean, and safe base to discover the Basque coast and Bilbao, look no further. Marta's place will exceed your expectations. We’ll be back for sure!

I had wonderful hosts who welcomed me warmly and helped me a lot with a motorcycle breakdown. The accommodation is well equipped and made to feel good. I was also able to park my motorcycle safely in the yard. I would love to come back!

A unique experience if you want to relax and disconnect from the world. Plus, you have the river next door, which makes it a spectacular setting. The apartment is very complete and with touches that other accommodations don't have, such as oil, sugar, rolls, milk... And what can I say about the hosts, Itzi and Ruben, they are charming, and we enjoyed a very nice time with them.

The apartment is very beautiful, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable – we felt at home right away. Everything was just as expected, and all essentials were provided, including a washing machine. One small note for future guests: the sleeping area is located on the upper level of the apartment and is accessible by stairs. So anyone who has difficulties with stairs should be aware of this in advance. Other than that, we were completely satisfied and would definitely come back. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything as described and pictured, located at the cozy and calming place with beautiful landscapes around. Located in few minutes from Mungia center and in 15-20 minutes from Bilbao when going by car. Alaitz and her family were very warm and welcoming to us and our dog. Recommended!
