This traditional workers cottage in Eskdale green gives you a wonderfully cosy retreat and an ideal base for exploring. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys. There is a smart tv and new unlimited WIFI for streaming you favourite films.

Yewbarrow is a cozy single-storey cottage, ideally located for walking, cycling, sight-seeing or simply the most stunning scenery the Lake District has to offer. You have Wainrights out back, Lake Wastwater in front and Scafell Pike just down the road. And until recently we had world-famous fell runner, Joss Naylor living next door! Beyond the monumental mountains, you'll find the breathtaking Cumbrian Coast only 15 minutes away, with beaches and Seascale, St Bees and others winding north.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
