I really enjoyed my stay here. The suite had everything I needed for the the few days that I was there. Internet worked well for me to get work done and loved the little kitchenette. I can tell they thought of everything to make sure you had all that you needed. I liked that the location was a little outside of town as it was peaceful but still close to the ocean and a short drive to Qualicum Beach.

A beautiful, serene little place, right on the waterfront. It had everything I could have needed (I wasn't really planning to cook for myself but if I'd wanted to, the kitchen was fully equipped). I was looking for quiet few days for a solo retreat and reflection time, and Cheryl's place was ideal. Right on the waterfront, tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy gazing at the ocean (some bunnies came by to visit), and a beautiful, majestic eagle kept watch over me while I was there. I heard but was not quite lucky enough to see a sea lion barking at the water's edge, and there were graceful herons taking flight and landing. I recommend the schnitzel Haus conveniently located across the street because I practically waddled back home, it was so filling and delicious. The unit was just as described, clean, comfortable, a perfect getaway. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had an incredibly great time in Meghan's Tiny Home! The Tiny House has incredibly good amenities and nothing was missing. We especially liked the different location and the garden around the property, you are absolutely undisturbed and can spend a few wonderful hours. Huge highlight was of course the jacuzzi and the sauna overlooking the forest, but above all the hospitality and helpfulness of Meghan & Bryan. We were really very sad to leave the Tiny House and would book with the two again at any time. Absolute heartfelt recommendation :-)

The Cottage in the Woods was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed and expected to be in the cottage. The outside sitting area was a very nice touch. It was so quiet and situated in a private area. Candice was very responsive. We loved our stay in The Cottage in the Woods. We would highly recommend the Cottage and the location for an outstanding experience.

Karen’s place was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It’s just a short 9-minute walk to the local pub for dinner, and the backyard was full of birdsong—so relaxing. As an avid hiker, I appreciated that Karen recommended a nearby trail, and I was also able to find a few others in the area. During my stay, I did a beautiful hike and even went on a unique goat hiking excursion about an hour away. Karen’s hospitality was gracious and kind—she was even up early to see me off before checkout, which meant a lot. I truly appreciated the quiet, the care she puts into hosting, and the overall peaceful atmosphere. I will definitely come back again!

Downtown Studio Minutes from the Beach

At first glance, the suite’s location might seem odd, but it actually was good. It’s accessed via a back alley. But it was super quiet and I felt comfortable coming and going. Safe and secure. The suite was similar in size to a hotel room but has everything needed for a stay. I loved the Nespresso machine and snacks. Used the toaster oven to warm up dinner. Used the mini fridge for breakfast items. The bed was very comfy. The blinds and curtains kept the room cool and dark. Light did come in through the frosted glass door panels but it didn’t bother me. Lots of hot water. Great shower. Good fan in the bathroom. Having good AC was important to me and I was impressed. I was able to walk all around the quaint downtown core, to the arts centre and to the boardwalk. There are two really good cafes close by. Check them out. I’ll definitely be back.
