We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge. I – Janine, a trained hotel manager – am particularly interested in bringing people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Time out by the lake

The quaint cottage Gabi is located above the Hennese lake & offers a beautiful view of the Sauerland countryside. It is fully made of wood inside & exudes cozy coziness in a quaint atmosphere. Courtesy as before 30 years! It offers a living room with integrated kitchen, two bedrooms with TEMPUR mattresses, sheep couch in the living room & bedroom floor on about 51 m ², so that there is space for 5-6 guests. The 2 terraces & the garden invite you to linger with wonderful views.

Apartment 1789 with garden in idyllic village

This cozy apartment is located in a small idyllic farming village in the Sauerland. Surrounded by meadows and forests, you can enjoy the tranquility of country life here. The rooms in the old half-timbered house from 1789 are on two floors. On the first floor is the rustic kitchen-living room, a bedroom in the former parlor and a toilet. Upstairs is the living room, bathroom with shower and tub, as well as two more bedrooms. In front of the door is the garden with terrace.

Apartment Broche, vacation from everyday life

Cozy apartment since September 2017 in a very quietly located former farmhouse on the edge of the forest. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, you will not find it here. However, if you want to switch off and are looking for relaxation, you have come to the right place. Certified by the DTV with 3 stars. If desired, the refrigerator (for a fee) can be filled. In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

Gästehaus Bähner

Built in 1963 by my grandparents, we have revived the old part of the bungalow in the charm of the 60s and converted it into a spacious guest house for 2-3 people. Situated directly on the edge of the forest, this is the perfect starting point for hikes in the beautiful Siegerland, for excursions in the region, e.g. e.g. to Freudenberg, Siegen or Biggesee. But it is just as perfect for a break from everyday life, for rest and relaxation. Welcome to Föschbe!

House in a rural area

The place offers plenty of room for the whole family. Located directly on the Rothaarsteig, you can make wonderful excursions on foot or by bike. If you want to go for a short walk in the evening, the nearby Tretbecken invites you to linger. The house, located on the outskirts of Hilchenbach-Grund, is surrounded by meadows and forests. In the immediate vicinity is a small horse stable. There is a ski slope and a toboggan run in the neighboring village.

Our 4-star holiday home (classified by DTV) is quiet, close to the forest and is lovingly designed. The region around Bad Berleburg and the direct proximity to the Sauerland offer you a variety of leisure opportunities. This allows you to make your stay varied.

Cozy paradise by the stream, child-friendly

Welcome to our cozy wooden house! Here you can escape the stress of everyday life. Our house can accommodate up to 4 people. The open living room with a fireplace and its complete glass front and the open kitchen creates an inviting atmosphere in which you will immediately feel comfortable. The location is unique: You have a beautiful view of the countryside and access to a stream. As parents, we have equipped the house toddler-friendly.

Small cottage with distant views of the Oberbergisches Land

Here you can stay in a small detached house with 1000 sqm fenced property and distant views over the Ober-Bergisches Land. The cottage is furnished in vintage style and has a fireplace in addition to electric heating. A kitchen newly built in 2022 with fridge, dishwasher, induction, oven, and everything else you might need, outdoor grill, covered terrace. Towels and bowls are available for dogs. Hiking from the house is possible for hours.

Single-roof vacation home at the edge of the forest

Forget your everyday stress and take a break in our cozy holiday home "Auszeit am Waldrand" in the beautiful Sauerland Nature Park. The cottage, which is detached on a property of 400m², can accommodate up to 4 people (3 persons)./2Erw+2K) and has a living area of 50m² as well as a large balcony with panoramic views over the dog valley. The Nurdachhaus, which is located in a tranquil holiday village, is an animal-free non-smoking house.

Helle neue und modern eingerichtete Ferienwohnung (50qm) mit großer Terasse (Gartenmöbel) in Süd-westlage und gemütlichem Flair in ruhiger Lage mit separaten Eingang. Für 2-4 Personen (Person 3 & 4 Schlafsofa) am Rande von Winterberg. Für 2 Personen perfekt, mit 4 Personen ist es eng. Ein Hund kostet 20 Euro pro Aufenthalt und muss mit der Kurtaxe vor Ort bezahlt werden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind inklusive.
