The forest and the golf course (with public restaurant) are 2 minutes by foot. The Ruhr Valley Cycle Trail leads through Neheim-Hüsten, making it ideally suited for cyclists as a stopover. There is a lot to explore by car within half an hour, such as the Sorpe and Möhnetal dams, the old town of Arnsberg and also the historic town of Soest.

The house is located about 10 minutes' walk from Lake Möhne and the dam. South of Lake Möhne with its numerous leisure activities is the largest forest area in NRW. To the north, Soest with its magnificent old town is 10 km away.
