Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Erlangen-Höchstadt

The vacation home is a great starting point for a variety of hikes in the Fichtelgebirge. You can start some routes directly. The furnishings are tasteful, practical and straightforward. Felix and Magdalena are great hosts - warm, helpful and discreet. We immediately felt welcome. All in all, the neighborhood provided the setting for a very successful active vacation. We highly recommend it.

We enjoyed it very much, the house is very cozy, spacious and beautifully renovated. The garden is great and our children and we felt very comfortable! We will be happy to come back sometime!

Good communication, clear instructions and very attentive to everything you need

We had a very nice short vacation with 4 adults in an interesting area! Hikes, for example, to the Walberla and excursions to the nearby area are quite possible from Pinzberg. The best way to get to the starting points is by car. The Bergkirchweih and the city center of Erlangen are easy and quick to reach from Forchheim by public transport (cheap with the Deutschlandticket, a single ticket is quite expensive for the short trip). Bamberg and Nuremberg are also worth a visit. The apartment is spacious, beautiful and tastefully furnished with a lot of natural wood furniture. A nice change is the gander Gustav, who lives in the fenced garden area and greets the guests and is vigilant. Ariane and Roman are a very friendly, open-minded and helpful landlord couple as you wish. In the village, there is a good restaurant and in the surrounding villages, you will find plenty of good beer gardens!

Wonderful stay! Home had everything we needed plus more. Highly recommend and will be back on our trip to Germany.

Apartment as in the photos, if not even a little more spacious and beautiful. There is really everything in the apartment, especially the kitchen is well equipped. In the village itself you have everything you need. The hosts are super nice and helpful, so you feel right at home! The only small criticism, but one that can be fixed with earplugs, is the train that passes directly by the house, which you can hear. Everything else is great!

We were on site with two small children. So the large garden with the many play equipment (swings, slide, trampoline, sandbox, ...) as well as the chickens and adjacent paddock with horses were very well received. There are also some toys available in the accommodation. At any rate, there was no boredom at any time. Just perfect for a break with your family. And otherwise, the furnishings of the accommodation leave nothing to be desired. A lot of what we had brought with us was actually already available on site (salt, pepper, tabs, ...). Communication with Birgit in advance and during the stay was also very pleasant - helpful and informative. For beer lovers, the region is of course beyond any doubt. Paradise on earth. Tip: the Pottensteiner from the Mager Brewery. In short: we will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful weekend at Raimund and his family's place. The house is located in a really nice village. The sauna in the garden is a highlight in addition to the charming and cozy design of the house!

As always, I felt very comfortable in Andrea's apartment.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in the area around the Walberla, this is the place to be! The apartment offers everything you need. A comfortable bed, a sofa with TV if the weather doesn't cooperate and quick options to reach a train station on foot. Check-in was flexible with us and the hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. We will be happy to come back if we need a place to stay nearby.

Fantastic stay made even better by Bastian and his family. From helpful instructions on how to navigate public transport to nearby supermarket directions, the hosts were able to help with whatever I needed. They replied quickly and in fantastic English. The accommodation was clean, well supplied and very peaceful despite being across the road from a local tram stop.

Everything was perfect-- the apartment was comfortable, clean and convenient. We would highly recommend!

In a nutshell: "A little paradise!" Wonderful! I immediately felt at home. Very nice hosts! Highly recommended. Always happy to come back when I'm in the area!

Beautiful and clean place. Helpful and communicative host. Only negative we had is the fact that washer and dryer was not inside the apartment(as expected based on description) but in hosts home. It felt uncomfortable to go into someone else's living space to do our laundry.

The apartment at Claudia’s is always clean. She has provided everything a guest might need. We have stayed here while visiting family and we will be back again soon.

The bright, friendly apartment is functional and equipped without unnecessary clutter, so we felt comfortable there quickly. It is located in a purely residential area and is so well separated from a nearby road by a high noise barrier that it is actually really quiet. The bed is only 1.40 m wide. You have to adjust to this if you are used to a wider bed for two. The small kitchenette is well equipped for simple cooking, but is not so suitable for elaborate dishes. Overall, we felt very comfortable for two weeks.

Only stayed one night for business. Serdar went out of his way to accommodate me, was extremely helpful and very friendly. The place was as described, true to the pictures and felt like home.

We were super happy with the place. It met our expectations. And the location is amazing, of course. You can't get any closer to the landmark of Bamberg, great.

great hospitable place ti stay area is quiet and air is very clean there is a small river nearby and you can hear the calming sound of water during the night. thats great for taking a fruitful rest

Hi, this is my second time staying at this apartment and I recommend it 100%. Both times have been for work and it is very well connected to the fair.

We had a great holiday week at Stefanie's! The check-in was super easy, the apartment is just great for a family of four and there is just a lot of things to do nearby for children - Playmobil Funpark, climbing forest, Nuremberg old town, etc. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Only in the upper bedroom do you notice the street in front of the door clearly when you open the windows. But the downstairs bedroom is turned away and therefore quiet. We found the beds themselves to be very comfortable and otherwise we lacked nothing during the week. The chickens and the family dog were a big highlight for the kids. :)

Super nice apartment, clean, nicely decorated and really cozy. Lots of toys and activities for our little one. That was really great. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and the proximity to a great restaurant. It was all around successful and we look forward to being your guest again on our return trip.

I felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is very well equipped and was sparkling clean. Also in the kitchen everything was available, plus coffee capsules and tea bags. Communication with Tim went smoothly. There were precise instructions with pictures for check-in and otherwise he was also very reliably available. A plus, but also a small minus, is the location. The apartment is centrally located, but also close to neighboring houses and neighbors, some of whom unfortunately did not seem so trustworthy.
