It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Lovely and very kind host. Met us at the door and told us everything we needed to know. Didn’t see her again as we were in and out but stayed in contact to make sure we are having the best time possible. Home was lovely and in a nice area but it is hard to fit a big car down the narrow roads to get here. However i would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Great place with space and privacy. Perfect as a starting point to visit this beautiful region (rental car recommended). Cristian is a great host, very organized and attentive. Ideal for a local experience, away from tourist shots. P.S: go through La Bottega Di Elisa to enjoy a caffè freddo cremoso and spremuta d 'arancia 😋 Tenants are a-do-ra-bles!

Apartment in Nesso has amazing views! It’s the main reason why we chose this place and we were not disappointed. Its astonishing! It’s also within a walking distance to Nesso fall. Restaurants and cafes are nearby. The pool was well maintained and comfortable. Kitchen was relatively well stocked, enough appliances to cook your own meals. We discovered some minor issues in the bathroom, but because there were two, we easily adjusted. Elevator had some issues, but got fixed. Just keep in mind that these kind of places are not newly built, so they do have some hiccups. All in all I give it a five ⭐️ and would come back again.

We really loved our stay at Ernesto and his wife’s place. They are very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed being at the pool, enjoyed the hikes near by and ate wonderful food at the local restaurant just down the street (4 minutes walk). The rooms are very beautiful and has a small kitchenette which was very convenient for us travelling with a baby. It was easy to just make a quick pasta at home when we didn’t want to go out for dinner. The little village has a butcher, a convenient store with fresh bread and a bar with a icecream place. It’s a perfect place to charge your batteries. Note that there is a long staircase coming from the parking lot to the house. Not a problem for us (even with a baby and a million things 😅😁) but could be good to know. They just built a new room in the garden and that way you don’t have to go on the stairs. But the main house is so worth climbing those stairs 😍 everything is newly renovated, clean and just perfect! We even got to do some laundry.

One of the great things about AirBnB is that you get to stay in places like this! An amazing location perched up high overlooking the city of Erba. The building is full of Italian Charm and Alessandro is a great host. Beautiful grounds to enjoy around the Villa also. So convenient for exploring beautiful places such as Como, Lecco and Bellagio. Can not say enough about this wonderful Villa. Cristina's family built this in the late 1890s. With my large family, my wife and I loved having dinner outside on the grounds with our children and grandchildren. 7 yr old Abbey dressed in her princess dress and thought she was living in a castle. Had to keep reminding her it was a Villa. Cristina, the memories that were created during our stay are priceless. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Villa. We look forward to returning.
