"The Clubhouse" Pvt Apt w/Mstr BR & 2bed Kids Loft

I spent 2 years custom building this apartment to be used exclusively as an Abnb rental. It was handcrafted using tongue & groove pine milled here in AL. All of the oak/pine used for the trim, cabinet doors, and custom furniture were milled in VA using my stepfather's personal sawmill with lumber harvested both from my property here in AL, and my families property in VA. Even the door/drawer pulls and switch/outlet covers were hand forged in PA by an Amish guy at his home forge in his basement.

This is the cutest little place! Has everything you need to get by and alittle more. We loved the character of the place and even took a few notes to maybe use in our own old home. We stayed at Donna’s cozy farmhouse to escape a tornado warning this weekend as we were staying in our camping trailer. It was perfect! My 11-year-old son had so much to explore and the area was super safe. The pictures around the farmhouse told so much history about the place. Donna was super quick to respond and everything we needed was at the house. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we’d definitely come back again.

This was the absolute perfect secluded getaway! The cabin came with plenty of kayaks, so there was no shortage of fun on the water. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to truly disconnect and recharge, this is the place for you. I actually loved that there was no cell service (a real treat in today’s world!), but the WiFi was strong and reliable if you needed it. We had such a relaxing stay, and pretty much stayed on the porch the whole time, we’ll definitely be back!

Lawrence was an excellent host!The apartment was equipped and comfortable and I was able to use the cargo lift to bring my luggage upstairs. Streaming channels were also available. We enjoyed our stay and I would stay again when visiting the area. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at his apartments.

Relaxing Retreat

Reginald’s place was very nice- I was returning from a deployment and needed somewhere to live I could feel like home for an extended stay. He and the Co-Host Ms. Deborah were phenomenal hosts during my stay of over 30 days. I had questions they answered quickly, I had and issue with the refrigerator they assess it and a new one was brought in the next day when technician deemed it needed replacing. When they switched the refrigerator out they refreshed the linen and towels while at the property. After my stay was over I left a personal belonging that was very expensive but couldn’t be replaced for what it meant to me. Ms. Deborah notified me she had found my belongings and immediately asked me what I would like done. She went out of her way and UPS Next Day Air my belongings to me and for that I’ve forever indebted to her. Making my stay nothing short of amazing and I will definitely be recommending folks to their property in the future!
