Chalet Zuiderzee is a unique, peaceful location on its own property. Rural location, in the middle of the old orchard is our cozy chalet. Unique location directly on the West Frisian surrounding dike with beautiful hiking and cycling routes. The historic center of Enkhuizen is about 5 km away, as is the indoor swimming pool, recreation beach, sailing surf school, fairytales Wonderland, the Zuiderzee Museum, Het Streekbos/Klimpark and the cozy shopping street with many restaurants.

The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

A large desk is available under the bed. The modernized bathroom exudes luxury.

Our cozy family home is located right in the center with the shops and bars/restaurant around the corner. The lovely southwest-facing garden offers every opportunity to relax. We use solar panels and a heat pump, which means we use less energy. On the upper floor, mainly natural materials have been used. Enkhuizen has a lot to offer, such as the Zuiderzee Museum, Fairytale Wonderland and the IJsselmeer.

The house is very close to the train station, and only a few minutes walk to some of the best restaurants and sailboat viewing in town. It is perfect for a long stay or a short holiday!

Spacious child-friendly downtown city center

We had a wonderful stay at Nienke and Richard’s place. Perfect if you are travelling with children, lots of toys, and a playground literally across the street. Walking distance to a grocery store and in a great location to walk around and explore. Richard and Nienke were very responsive and accommodating. Only thing to mention is that the crib is a travel crib (pack n play type thing) and not a real crib as in the photos. Still, we loved our time there!

A wood-burning stove is positioned at the center of the yurt, surrounded by a circular hearth. The stove features a glass door revealing flickering flames, and decorative stones are incorporated around it. Firewood is neatly stacked nearby, alongside essential tools for fire management.

We (2 adults, 2 children) spent 1 night in Trudy's apartment. Received very clear instructions for parking and entry. Trudy & Jasper respond almost immediately to questions we asked. We have experienced this as very pleasant. Cleanliness is very important to us. The apartment looks clean. Unfortunately, this was not so under the shower mat. We found mold there. The shower was good, nice and warm and there were plenty of towels available. In addition, there were 4 of us and we had to use the sofa bed. We were aware of this. We had to fix the sofa bed ourselves. Which is not a problem in itself. But the blankets we had to use were under the sofa bed and we had the impression that the blankets had been there for a while and did not smell very fresh. The sofa bed slept well, by the way! All in all, it was fine for 1 night.

Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in the beautiful cottage. Beautiful surroundings with beautiful old buildings in the middle of the city center. Everything at your fingertips. Tim has everything fine. We will definitely be back :-)
