Shepherds hut vacation rentals in English Channel

we had a superb getaway, ideal for timeout and a recharge. everything was as described and the mattress was so comfortable. is now on our favourites lists to return back to.

Sue is an amazing host and the hut was exactly what we hoped it would be - a peaceful weekend away with beautiful surroundings. Very functional hut - it had everything you would need. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be looking to come back!

We loved our stay in the shepherd's hut. We wanted a peaceful escape surrounded by nature and it was exactly that. We were rained in for one day but it ended up being our favourite experience- the hut is so cosy, everything you need is to hand, and we could sit and watch the scenery for hours. On the sunnier days there is a short walk to the coast path and the views of the coastline. The toilet and shower is the perfect set up, we also loved the outside bath and the wood stove.

Peaceful and quiet location with sheep and alpaca in the neighbouring fields. Sitting outside the shepherds hut we could see the sea in the distance - same view from the hot tub. Very comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed for our short break.

We had the most perfect stay at Rosies Retreat with our dog. Lucy was a fantastic host, we loved how accommodating she was through airbnb and we love a key box check in, we were left to enjoy the space which is how we like it but we knew she was there in the background if we did find we needed anything. This is a perfect retreat with a well behaved reactive dog who just loves to look out at a view and has nothing around to spook them 🐾 all three of us are fully recharged and already looking forward to another visit sometime x

Such a beautiful spot, so peaceful and remote yet within easy distances of some great places. The hot tub was a big hit with our 3 year old. Absolutely loved it. Thank you

We were so looking forward to getting to the cabin, but due to personal reasons we had to cancel. Despite the very short notice, Frank was kind and considerate. Overall Frank answered all our questions with kindness, found us a driver to assist us, and showed great willingness to make our stay perfect. Thank you so much Frank!

As a regular walker on the South Downs Way, I always look forward to staying at Pauline's Shepherd's Hut. The welcome is always friendly, the hut is always clean and tidy. Comfort is guaranteed. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Diddylake was so peaceful. Watching the birds nesting in the farmhouse walls, the swallows at dusk and feeding on the seeds. Such a quiet place that felt really secluded. The meadow was looking beautiful, it was just a lovely spot to just sit and enjoy the outdoors. The shepherds huts themselves had everything you needed and more! Very comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities. The shower with that stunning view was amazing. Jackson and Sandra - You are building something very special here. We want to come back.

Had a beautiful time at The Great Escape! Such a peaceful place with lush surroundings. The hot tub was such a treat and the hut was very clean with all the amenities you could need. Would absolutely come back!

Lovely few days stay at the cabin. We probably spent most of the time on the porch looking out into the woodlands. Everything was as described. It was an incredibly peaceful place to unwind. Would be more than happy to visit again. Communication was excellent. Many Thanks!

Wonderful shepherd's hut near plenty of interesting things to do, or just relax and chill out as the area is so peaceful. Everything you could possibly want and more has been thought of my the hosts with so many sweet touches to make your stay lovely. Perfect place for star gazing as you're out in the countryside and our dog loved the stay too! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again

Die Schäferhütte war sehr gemütlich und sehr schön im Wald gelegen. Es war sehr ruhig und einfach zu erreichen. Im nahegelegenen Dorf Robertsbridge gibt es einen schönen Pub und ein leckeres indisches Restaurant. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft sehr weiter!

Had a lovely peaceful stay, didn’t want to venture out too much,just enjoy the shepherds hut and hot tub. Cooked everything on the fire pit/bbq,more than enough wood, kindling and firefighters were provided. We went out for a couple of hours and Abi offered to have the the hot tub heated up and ready for when we returned which was a lovely gesture, she also asked for our arrival time so that she could have it ready for us. Nothing was too much trouble, the hut and surroundings were perfect.Have already recommended to friends and would recommend to anyone wanting some peace and quiet with that back to nature feeling. Great break, perfect hosts.

We really enjoyed our weekend in the shepherds hut, it was a perfect spot to recharge and connect with nature. The space had everything we needed and the attention to detail of the interiors meant everything had a place, was easy to keep tidy and enjoy the quirky little decor features! We wondered down to the Royal Oak Pub which was around a mile long walk through the field and along the road, not expecting much from the outset and even when we stepped inside we didn’t have high expectations for dinner but my god we were proven wrong! The food was amazing, a real hidden gem of London quality dishes and of course we had 3 courses just to try out the menu and incredible specials on offer! It’s fair to stay we really loved our stay and hope to be back.

Absolutely loved our stay here, it was so beautiful. Tracy is such a thoughtful host, her attention to detail was incredible and she included so many little touches that made the stay feel so homely and personal. Would recommend to anyone!

We had such a wonderful stay for my partners birthday, Clive went the extra mile to make us feel welcome by putting up some birthday decorations and leaving us some treats for when we arrived. It's a perfect place to get away and unwind in nature, we were always surrounded by animals whether it was Norman the cat visiting during a bbq, hanging out with the goats, or watching the ducks drift about in the stream while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you very much to Clive and Nikki for hosting us. I cannot recommend Kingfisher enough, we truly had an amazing time :)

Fabulous place that is beyond what you would expect from a Shepherd’s Hut. Great thought and attention to detail has clearly gone into building and designing this place. It’s deceptively spacious and has got everything you need and more, the hot tub and outside seating are real bonuses, all in all a fabulous spot.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Even better than the pictures. After having stressful Jons as a nurse and firefighter it’s amazing at how relaxed and distressful it was. Having the bath outside you don’t feel overlooked or watched in. Andrew and his wife has thought of everything, all I would say is take a tripod for your phone as you will want to take so many pictures. Would 100% stay here again and definitely recommend to family and friends

Bliss ✨ Little Bear is a magical place. Private and peaceful with picturesque views and sounds of bird song. The perfect place to relax and recharge. We felt very much at home here and hope to return one day.

We only spent one night here while on a week-long excursion walking the coast path but it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The location is one of the most beautiful spots in Cornwall and Deborah’s place is the perfect way to take in the scenery while still staying cosy and warm. The lack of WiFi/service was fine since we were pre-warned and planned ahead, and actually made for a really pleasant evening as we were encouraged to “switch-off”. The local pub in Zennor also had WiFi and a great food menu.

We spent 3 fabulous nights in Holly’s Shepherds Hut to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The Hut is decorated very tastefully and modern and set in the most beautiful, peaceful setting. We loved lighting the fire pit each evening after a delicious meal at The Old Mill Pub which is a couple of minutes walk away. The location is perfect for visiting the nearby beaches and towns. Holly was a brilliant Host and we can’t wait to return!

A great get away that was easy to find. With fantastic views and an extremely peaceful area surrounded by farmland. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

This is out 7th stay at Jackie's place and this time was for our minimoon after our wedding on the Saturday and Jackie and Johnny did us proud again, left some balloons, flowers, fizz and a lovely card for our wedding day. We had such a relaxed and stress free break, can't wait to go back again. Thanks again ❤️
