Absolutely gorgeous place, we couldn’t stop being amazed at the views - how we could gaze at the sea through French doors on one side of the loft and see a port filled with small boats, rimmed with sweet houses through a sky light on the other. We ate our breakfast and dinners looking out at the sea - if the days had been less sunny we would have enjoyed just staying indoors because it is such a lovely air b n b. We enjoyed exploring the town, following lovely cliff top walks.

I had a lovely short break together with my 12 year old son at Guido’s property. The property is very spacious, bright, quiet, well equipped and safe. We both slept really well and were very comfortable. The property is ideally situated for lots of activities such as walks on the beach, tennis courts, parks, Natural History Museum, the historic dockyard etc. It is very close to local shops, cafes and restaurants. The bus stop is a three minute walk away, with a very regular service providing cheap easy access to Portsmouth and the other areas of Southsea. All my dealings with Guido were 5* and he was very friendly, patient and helpful. This is the perfect spot and home to explore Southsea with children or just to enjoy a beach trip. We enjoyed a very happy few days here. Thank you Guido for having us.

If you’re looking to unplug and unwind, this place is exactly what you need. Tucked away from the noise of everyday life, it’s the kind of place where time slows down — and that’s a good thing. Will definitely go back this year!

While visiting Fécamp for the GR21, we were greeted with a smile despite about ten minutes late to the expected arrival time. We were able to spend a relaxing evening in this charming atypical accommodation that has everything you need as advertised. We'll be happy to go back!

It was a really nice and well-located apartment. Would recommend but just up until 6 people, we were with 8 and it was a bit too small for us. And the one other downside is that you cannot store your luggage anymore after check-out in the apartment and have to make arrangements to store them someplace else.

Incredible stay. We spent the night here to be close to a friend’s wedding we were attending. Ros and Neil were extremely accommodating. They let us check in early so we could get ready and leave our things before heading off for the wedding. They had left homemade flapjacks for us which were delicious! Neil was super helpful answering any questions I had in advance about the location etc. Ros met us when we got there and was so kind, letting us know just to let them know if we needed anything. Instructions to get there were really clear. The place itself was so cosy and peaceful, we felt right at home! Thank you so much! ☺️

We spent two days at Christine's, everything is impeccable. We had a great welcome, the accommodation is very clean, very well located for the beach, and bike or walking rides. The location of the accommodation with the garden with the view of the cove of Penfoulic is lovely. This is a good place for a vacation for two.

Very pleasant and peaceful accommodation, tastefully decorated. It immediately felt good there. Thank you for your responsiveness before my arrival regarding the water drainage issue in the kitchen, it had no impact on our stay. The only small problem I regret concerns the previous occupants: they had left a dozen fruit cores between the armrest and the seat of the sofa. A little respect all the same, especially since the accommodation has all the necessary amenities, including a trash can. Thanks Melanie for this stay.

Beautiful accommodation, in a charming and relaxing setting. All amenities are quality. I had a very nice week there.

Alain and Isabelle’s place was beautiful. You could tell a lot of care has gone into every creating detail, and I loved how the more you looked around the more you saw - Especially the lamps! The location was wonderful, and we enjoyed the sauna and having breakfast in the garden with the chickens and cat! Alain was really helpful explaining everything and giving us recommendations. Thank you both for having us!

Dot and Dave were perfect hosts who made me feel very welcome. The accommodation was extremely well equipped , clean and comfortable with lots of small extras which made it very special. Breakfast was provided too which was delicious. It was free to park on the side streets and to get into the city centre with regular buses around the corner. A real find!

Brigitte was available and very discreet during our stay. Very quiet room.

I stayed with Michèle, she is an incredible lady with a beautiful heart of welcome, she knows how to make you feel as a family, always smiling, it is a pleasure to find a time to establish a discussion, I see advice coming to her home for a quick stay in Abbeville. I love nature and I work in nature conservation, so I am totally delighted with this beautiful house in a real natural paradise. Catherine is super friendly and an attentive, open and warm hostess. I felt totally at ease and I would definitely go back if I wanted to spend my holidays in this beautiful area again.
