My little green Granny house - near Corn Palace

This cozy house has so much to offer with sleeping for 4 to 8 and could accommodate more with the pack-and-play. King bed sleeps two, full size bed, and two full size sleeper sofas each sleep one or two people. Extra blankets and pillows in rooms. Close to shopping, banks, eating establishments and the community theater. Parking off street or behind the house with both front and back door entrance. Grill, fire pit and swing set out back. No smoking. No parties. Great place to relax and enjoy.

Stay in a “barndominium”. The Derecho House is a private living quarter within a shed. Room for trailers and hunter’s welcome. Dogs allowed for extra fee & rules. It was rebuilt after it was completely destroyed by a Derecho in 2022. Enjoy a cozy living area with two tv’s, WiFi and streaming. Full kitchen. Private bedroom with a sliding barn door. Enjoy the wide open spaces and sounds of nature on a private patio with an overhang. Close to I-90 for easy access to Sioux Falls and Mitchell.

Welcome, everyone! Our home, built in 1925, is located in the heart of the historical area of downtown Mitchell. It is situated next to the World’s Only Corn Palace and includes off-street parking for two vehicles. We love attending events at the Corn Palace because we don't have to worry about finding a parking spot; we can simply walk! Brenda was very flexible when our reason for reservation changed from hunting trip for our boys to funeral accommodations for family members. She added a day prior for us when requested. We traveled to our hometown for graduations & a family picnic. Staying at The Haven made us feel like we were home, without actually being at home. It was nice to be close to all the family without feeling like we were incoveniencing anyone. We LOVED all the labels on the drawers, light switches & all of the secial notes around the house. The Haven is a cute little house that was just as described. We will definitely stay again the next time we need to travel back "home". Julie was great to work with as well. I needed to change our schedule to come in a day earlier than planned. Julie was super responsive & accomodating.
