We had a wonderful stay at The Shopkeeper’s Inn. This sweet space has been thoughtfully decorated, and you can tell the hosts have spent a lot of time to make it feel like a home away from home. Everything was super clean and clutter free. A nicely stocked kitchen, including eggs, bacon and muffins provided by our hosts. A very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. This is a wonderful getway. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the Ely area. Thanks again Jason and Michele.

The campground was easy to navigate, clean, and very comfortable. Brian, the camp host, was very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful! Rudy was also very responsive in assisting with check-in. Would highly recommend to anyone driving through or visiting Great Basin. It was only around 1.5 hrs to the park.

What a fantastic experience. The hot showers and bathroom were so clean and such an added bonus. There was also a little clubhouse with a stove and microwave and cute patio on top. I was met at the gate with clear instructions and quick response messaging on my way in.

We really enjoyed our unique experience staying at Rowena's trailer. Rowena was always responsive and we had a lovely chat upon checking in. The location couldn't be better as it was right next to the Great Basin National Park. Highly recommend if you are traveling to the park or just passing through Baker.

The log cabin exterior features a welcoming porch with sturdy wooden railings. A stone foundation complements the warm wooden structure, surrounded by a snow-covered landscape. Large windows allow natural light to brighten the interior, while mountain peaks are visible in the background.

This is a great little cabin, in an area with VERY few options for lodging. Note that it is about 20 mins away from town of Baker and Great Basin. Kym went above and beyond letting us check in early! Make sure you read her instructions she sends to find the place, while google maps will get you close, it will make it look like it's on the other side of the road and a bit farther down. Cabin has a great porch with great views and the night sky was spectacular for seeing the milky way. It was clean, comfortable and AC worked well in the bedroom.

A cozy bedroom features a queen bed with a gray blanket and yellow accent pillows. Two bedside tables with lamps are positioned on either side, and a decorative pillow adds a touch of style. Natural light enters through the window with blinds.

Pinyon Pine Lodge by Great Basin National Park

A wonderful cabin in the perfect location to enjoy the best of what the Great Basin has to offer. It is 15 min to Great Basin National Park and just 40+ min to Ely for any supplies you might need as well. While it is near the road, the road noise is basically non existent as it is well named as the Loneliest Road in America. The surrounding area is serene and peaceful offering the perfect break from the outside world. The cabin is well appointed and comfortable with all the necessary amenities for an enjoyable stay. The mattress, in particular, was extremely comfortable and offered a great night's sleep after long days of hiking. The host Kym was very responsive and a pleasure to interact with both prior to and during our stay. Finally, the night sky is an attraction all on its own. Great Basin is, itself, one of the best dark sky parks in the country and the cabin itself also offers spectacular dark sky viewing. We would definitely book again!

The Cabin in the Clouds was a great stay for our group to unwind after visiting Great Basin National Park. The view was awesome, the kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the DVD collection. We watched the humming birds and the beds were comfy. We would stay here again!
