The apartment is on the 2nd floor, is approx. 100 m2, and has air conditioning. A cozy living room with board games, sofa, PS4, smart TV and everything you need for cooking. There is a dishwasher. There is 1 step inside the apartment. We have 3 charming and newly renovated rooms with beds for 5 adults, as well as a crib and a rollaway bed for children. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and pets are welcome as long as they are under control and not in bed. We share the toilet at night, but otherwise, it's 100% yours.

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

From Humptrup, the North Sea is about 20 km away! The ideal starting point for day trips to the North Frisian islands and Halligen (e.g. Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Hooge, Oland, Hamburger Hallig). The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

We have modernized the approximately 200 m² vacation home "Mein Nordstern" with a lot of love for detail. We have equipped and furnished the house the way we like it best. Thus, in addition to design classics, there are high-quality beds and carefully selected kitchen utensils that make the house modern and cozy overall. We now also have a sauna in the house. Welcome to our apartment Rehkitz im Wald in Süderlügum. Süderlügum is located right on the Danish border on the North Sea between Flensburg and Sylt. Shopping, playgrounds and an outdoor pool are a few minutes' walk away. Special feature: our shops are also open on Sundays and on many holidays. A fishing lake is also nearby, day tickets for this can be purchased from us.
