This newly-renovated, air conditioned 1953 D&H railway baywindow caboose features barnwood wainscoting, tiled shower, bunk beds, futon, sofa opening to double bed, and kitchenette. The rural property 7 miles outside of Ithaca is one mile from Robert Treman State Park where you can swim beneath the waterfall. Mountainview Lodge Caboose/Tiny Home

Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our historic Algoma train Caboose is quite the experience as it's surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. We also offer kayak to rent to explore the river. The top loft of the Caboose is only accessed by a ladder.
