Modern Mountain Living: Relaxing mountain retreat

The place did feel like a private mountain retreat with all the modern amenities. We stayed there for over two weeks and enjoyed it immensely. Trust the pictures: spacious rooms, large windows (it never felt like a basement), and a futuristic shower. Everything was in perfect working condition, wifi was strong, and a sophisticated heating system kept the temperature stable. We spent lots of time at the patio enjoying the idyllic view (as the upper deck protects from sun and drizzle). Hummingbirds and deer completed the nature feel. We enjoyed the proximity of hiking, from the Golden Gate Park within 15 min drive to a network of beautiful trails halfway to it. Lisa and Eric were wonderful hosts - not just responsive and informative but genuinely friendly and considerate (we barely heard any sounds beyond occasional footsteps). We look forward to staying with them again in the future.

This Airbnb is a whole vibe. The decorating is really neat and eclectic. It backs up to a really pretty wooded area and the neighbors are quiet and not too close. The bathtub is *amazing*. It’s within walking distance of basically everything in Nederland including a beautiful creek path that leads to the dam. Chipmunks all over the place 😍. I brought my friends from out of state here for my 40th for a girls trip to give them a dose of small mountain town Colorado. I could not have picked a better spot. We enjoyed the home and the town so much. I wouldn’t change a thing about the trip. Highly recommend this home. The host was extremely accommodating. We decided to extend our stay bc we enjoyed ourselves so much, and it was no problem at all. 10 out 10 for us!!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this gorgeous home! The location is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive to town for anything we needed. It was also very easy to get to, with smooth check-in and check-out that made everything effortless. The setting was serene, with hummingbird feeders that attracted the sweetest little visitors throughout the day—such a special touch! The deck was one of our favorite spots—spacious, relaxing, and offering stunning views of the mountains. The house itself had everything we needed and more. It was well-stocked, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout. Clear and thorough information was provided about the home. The hosts, Grace and Dan, were incredibly kind and responsive, offering excellent communication from start to finish. They made us feel very welcome and ensured everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this beaut

This was a cozy home away from home. Everything was easy. We loved the beds and the couch was super comfy. The little nooks were great for reading and the games and piano they provided were a perfect way to relax and pass the time. The rain helped us relax (and not hike every second) and it’s just what we needed to unwind and getaway. But we did love the hikes that were close by - with beautiful views. We will definitely book again when we need another weekend of R&R. Thanks Jill!
