Chalet vacation rentals in El Prado

This place was amazing. It had everything we could ask for and so much more. It was spotless. The hot tub on the river was amazing. My kids love the games provided! We felt like we were at home! I would definitely come back and recommend this house to anyone! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!

We absolutely loved our stay at Brownell Chalet! If you love old charming accommodations this is the place for you. We love old, historic places and this did not disappoint. Even though this is an older, it was in pristine, clean condition. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The 2 room configuration with kitchenette was perfect for us and our 2 teen boys. Christof met us to let us in (even at 10pm!) and had it all open and lit for us. The location is literally steps to Chair 1 - couldn't be more convenient. If you stay here (and you should) be sure to ask Christof for a reservation in the Der Garten Bistro which is his delicious, cozy restaurant right in the chalet. We felt incredibly welcome!

Loved staying here! It was perfect for our family. Space and location was awesome! They were also extremely accommodating letting us come in a day early and stay, my family had the best time! Would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to several friends and family.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family Christmas! Nestled in the mountain with great views and wildlife. We will definitely be booking again!

My wife and I were looking for a three day getaway, and Pat's house was a perfect antidote to what ailed us. The home was well-prepped, wonderfully situated, and a terrific place to refresh. Upon first glance at arrival, we were overwhelmed by the volume of indoor and outdoor art. As the stay progressed it became obvious that each of the objets d'art were well-placed, meaningful, and the result of 40 years of personal curation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend booking the home if it is available. Don't pass it by or you might lose out. Arroyo Seco is THE place to stay near Taos.

We’ll also use ABnB again as a result of our experience with Frankie and Sue. Though I know it will be hard to match our experience elswhere.

Great cabin with easy access to Taos Ski Valley. Kayta was responsive and a great host. Highly recommend.

The view itself is worth 5 stars. Very comfortable for our family. Easy to find - great communications and accommodating a special request. Close to red river and Taos for fun activities.

We had an amazing stay! The surroundings were beautiful and there were plenty of beds to accommodate a large group. We got lots of use out of the hot tub and loved the big table so we could eat meals together. Overall a great choice for our large group of 13 adults.

Wow! What a beautiful, charming Taos chalet! The location is perfect! We loved being at the base of the mountain! And having CID's market right across the street was convenient. The hot tub was dreamy and the big deck! Perfect!
