Kid-friendly vacation rentals in El Palo, Málaga-Este

Very good location, clean apartment, all the amenities, proper kitchen, friendly check-in, close to a beautiful beach and many restaurants, and getting to Málaga center is uncomplicated by bus. The only downside is that parking is VERY difficult in the area. You need to be quite lucky to find street parking, but we managed.

WE loved this apartment,as others have said its the perfect location.Juan is a wonderful host always available for any questions. We will be back some day.

Nice and well-equipped house, perfect for a comfortable stay. The view from the 1st and 2nd floors is really superb. Special mention for the sofa and bedding, very comfortable! The neighborhood is generally quiet, except for some evenings a little lively because of the nearby bar. Free parking right in front, convenient even though it's often busy. The beach is right across, with a nice pedestrian walk and lots of restaurants. Supermarket within walking distance, which is a real plus. We had a great time!

This home is well outside of El Centro and that was PERFECT for us. Terrific local restaurants, east access to beach path and mercados and the kitchen is so well appointed we cooked our own breakfast each day. The instructions are clear and helpful as was Rosina and her crew.

A superb villa, very spacious and clean. Just a note that it is at the top of a small mountain but wow when you get to the top the views are truly spectacular. A great spot for exploring the area and Ubers are easy to get for trips into Malaga, would highly recommend.

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

We really enjoyed our stay. The upstairs room and terrace is a beautiful space and the wet bar is a great addition. The rooms were exactly as their pictures. There are two full bathrooms and a toilet on the ground floor. The kitchen was well equiped. It is an easy walk to the beach and great restaurants. There is even one spot on the roof terrace where you can see the sea through a gap in the houses! We took ubers into Malaga and they arrived within 5 minutes when ever we called one. As other reviews state the house backs on to a noisy road. We found for the rooms on the main road if you closed the windows and also put the shutters completely down it helped with the noise. It was also much quieter in the evening than during the day.

Fast, friendly communication. Easy check-in. Location is perfect. 2 min to the beach, sea and many restaurants, 2 min to the bus stop to Málaga, 3 min to the supermarket. In the house and in front of the apartment sometimes a bit noisy, but this was taken care of, there are earplugs ready. Beds cozy…. The only thing in which a bathroom, the glass door came off the rails after a single shower. That's why we couldn't use this shower anymore. In the same bathroom, the sliding door also did not close. We went to this toilet anyway, even if you didn't have any privacy. In addition, the lid always closed independently on this toilet. That was a little uncomfortable when you're sitting on the toilet and the lid is in your back. The rest was perfect.

Lovely little apartment, close to beach and all amenities. Well equipped for a short stay . Nacho welcomed us personally and gave us all the information required. He also provided cold water and beer which was well received as we arrived on a very warm day . I would recommend this flat as it’s in a perfect location, walkable to beach , shops , bars and restaurants.

Hospitable and friendly host. The apartment is nice and modern and in a good location. Near the beach, buses, pharmacy, Grocery store, cafes etc. Very good sea view with sunset. We warmly recommed!!!

Great host, great location and the photos are accurate. Juan and his staff were wonderful to work with. We stayed for two months and every little issue or question that arose (including our accidentally leaving some things behind on checkout) was dealt with promptly. We have stayed in Málaga several times but El Palo is now our favorite area. It's a bit out of Centro with far fewer tourists so we felt like we were really in Spain. Yet, the local buses run every 5 minutes and take us to Centro in 15 minutes. By the end of the stay, we really felt like locals.

The personal welcome is warm and gives you the opportunity to clarify questions or get tips. The apartment is large enough for two people and offers a lot with a pool and small gym as well as the proximity to the beach and a tend. quieter location. It is within walking distance of the nearest bus stops, which means you can quickly get to Málaga Centro. Overall highly recommended.

We loved staying at Jose Maria’s place, the location was absolutely divine. It’s simple, sweet and exactly what we needed; on a pedestrianised road, moments from the sea. We kept our front door open when we were in, ate inside and out and sea swam every morning. The location could not have been better, Jose was responsive when we needed him, would highly recommend. Great spot, beautiful beach, wonderful neighbours.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Joaquin's. Upon arrival, he was extremely welcoming, caring and professional. The apartment is superb, tastefully decorated and in excellent condition. Nothing is missing: the kitchen is perfectly equipped, the utensils are quality, the bedding is very comfortable, the storage well thought out… everything is there to feel at home. But the real gem is the penthouse itself, an incredible place, bright, quiet, with a magnificent view. Joaquin was one of the best hosts we've met on Airbnb: always available, responsive and very kind. A huge thank you also for carrying our suitcases on arrival, a simple gesture but so appreciated! It's a flawless one. We'll be back without a second thought. Again, thank you for this great experience!
