Family-friendly vacation rentals in El Bosque

Muchas gracias Eduardo, Gloria (y su compañero), Paco: Estoy en la etapa de prospección de un terreno en zona subtropical. Iba a Genalguacil para visitar un terreno. Genalguacil es un pueblo muy interesante por su compromiso con la cultura y se nota mucho. No solo por las más de 100 obras de arte contemporáneo en las calles del pueblo, pero en la manera de cuidar de las casas, de las plazas. Comenté a Eduardo que iba a visitar un terreno y si por acaso sabía de terrenos a venta. Le mandé una lista de características que busco. Eduardo me puso en contacto con Paco y fuimos a visitar otras dos fincas juntos. Ha sido muy agradable conocer a lugareños y conversar sobre temas diversos tocando al pueblo y la cercanía. Fuimos a visitar el museo de arte contemporáneo con Paco y luego conocer su tienda donde vende su artesanía hecha con madera de olivo, esparto, y otras fibras vegetales. La casa de Eduardo en el centro del pueblo es perfecta para alojarse y sentirse en casa. Genial Genal!

La casa parece cara pero cuando la disfrutas, ves la cantidad de ambientes, la tranquilidad y la intimidad que tiene es hasta barata. Todo tiene un aspecto rústico y de campo, no es lujo urbano sino un lujo rural. Para repetir, inolvidable

Bruno was extremely helpful and communicated well and quickly, the place is beautiful with amazing views of Ronda, we would definitely return, Bruno was very friendly and helped us find the apartment very easily and showed us how everything worked, five stars from us!

Een heel fijn verblijf. De tuin met zwembad (het is eigenlijk een soort enorm dakterras) is heel fijn en prive. Door het mooie uitzicht en de intieme ligging heeft het een heel fijne en serene sfeer. Het huis zelf is oke en prima voor een halve of hele week.

Carlos’s apartment is top class.. It has every utensil you can think of.. My wife said that even the hair dryer was of a very good quality. the air con was very good also which was needed as the temperatures hit 38 degrees Celsius during our stay.. The apartment and bathroom are very spacious with a very large walk-in shower in which the flow of water was very powerful.. you are approx 60 meters from the promenade walkway and the beach.. you are an approx 1km walk from the middle of old town square.. the bus stop and taxi rank are also very close the main gate of apartment block.. we met Carlos and wife on our check out who are lovely people and were very prompt on responding to our questions.. we will definitely be back to stay here..

I absolutely loved Nuscha’s place. It is super homely, the balcony is huge. It is a great location with getting to the centre of Banus and under 10 minutes. I recommend this home very much. Has everything you need in a great and safe complex

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Casas de Almajar in July of 2024. My 7yo daughter and I were there along with friends, for a total of two adults and 2-3 kids at any given moment, ages 6-10. This accommodation was perfect for us. The house was cozy and stayed relatively cool during the very hot daytime hours (plus there was an A/C unit we could use when needed). We prepared most of our meals at the house and found that easy to manage with the supplies on hand. The pool was definitely the highlight of the location: it was pristine and extremely pleasant during the hot days. We spent hours there every day. The house is located uphill from most of Prado del Rey so you need to be prepared for some steep, hilly walking when you stay here, but it was only a <5 min walk to the main pedestrian walkway (lined with bars and cafes) or the town square. Juana was very helpful with local information and suggestions, from supermarkets and restaurants to nearby hiking trails. A great place!

l'accueil de ana et Antonio est très chaleureux leur petite maison réalisée avec beaucoup de goût et de soin rien ne manque. pour l'arrivée ne vous fié pas au gps pas assez précis la route qui les dessert. ne permet pas les demi tour. séjour très agréable et reposant.

Ha sido todo perfecto, la casa está ubicada en un precioso paraje rodeado de montañas junto a un riachuelo. La limpieza, como siempre ha sido perfecta. con todo el menaje que puedas necesitar. Esta casa es ideal para conectar con la naturaleza y relajarte. Albert es un anfitrión muy atento y muy pendiente de las necesidades de sus clientes.

We had a wonderful time and would love to come back in the future. Not all the beds were as comfortable as the ones in the main room, but apart from that we had a great Christmas time and the surroundings are as beautiful as it gets.

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying at Juan's charming & rustic home. If you are looking for a modern Airbnb, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Ronda, where you can enjoy beautiful views from your deck/patio/private pool & enjoy family time...then this place is for you. When you are ready to leave your comforts of home, you can drive to two of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia: a quick 10 minutes to Ronda or 25 minutes to the amazing & unique Setenil de las Bodegas. Juan's place has all of the comforts of a mountain home, complete with views of endless stars at night, 2 full bathrooms, enough room to sleep 8 comfortably & two air conditioning units (1 in the main bedroom & 1 in the living room) to keep the house cool. There is no AC in the 3 downstairs bedrooms, but since the rooms are on the bottom floor, they stayed cool at night. Our boys also loved the resident neighborhood cat, whom they named "Sunflower"! We were very pleased with our experience in Nurias house. The house was not only nice and clean, but it also met our expectations. The location is good, situated close to the heart of Ronda, which made it easy to explore the city. Communication with Nuria was seamless; she was always responsive and helpful. We especially appreciated how Nuria assisted us when we had a little trouble locking the gate to the street - she was very quick to help and made sure everything was sorted out. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to visit Ronda.

Fantástica estancia hemos tenido pasando el fin de año en familia, muy a gusto con nuestros perros. La casa tiene todo lo necesario, equipada con todo detalle, calefacción y chimenea con leña disponible, que Joaquin tuvo el detalle de encender para recibirnos. La zona es tranquila, con mucha intimidad y varias hectáreas de terreno con diversidad de plantas y árboles identificados, como si fuera un jardín botánico. Bonito oasis el que han construido Joaquin y su mujer en medio del campo de Arcos de la Frontera.

Unos amigos y yo buscábamos un sitio donde relajarnos a base de piscina y parrilla. Aunque el clima no nos acompañó la estancia fue fantástica y nos sentimos como en casa. Muchas gracias Luis!

Hemos estado una semana como en casa , Francisco es muy agradable y atento , nos indico zonas que visitar y actividades para hacer . Zona tranquila , dentro del alojamiento hay aparcamiento que viene muy bien y disfrutamos de la piscina . Un alojamiento recomendable , para repetir .

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy and well-equipped cottage surrounded by beautiful Spanish nature. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and restorative. One of the highlights was the cute chickens on the property, who provided fresh eggs every morning and which the host kindly shared with us. The garden is lush and tranquil, great for reading or just enjoying the sounds of nature (like frogs, birds and v friendly dogs), or the fire place in the evenings. The swimming pool was well maintained, with plenty of loungers and seating for sunbathing throughout the day. The host was outstanding—genuinely warm, friendly, and always available with helpful recommendations. Susanna made us feel at home, and allowed us to stay longer on check-out day so that we could enjoy the sun. The location is ideal: just a 10-15 minute drive to a picturesque village with excellent restaurants, historic spots, and scenic views. We left feeling refreshed, and can’t wait to return soon!

Die Unterkunft ist ein Kunstwerk. Inmitten eines wunderschönen weißen Dorf gelegen fühlt man sich sofort zu Hause. Das Appartement ist durchdacht und mit viel Liebe und Kunstverstand eingerichtet. Der tolle saubere Pool direkt vor der Tür ist großartig. Emma ist immer erreichbar, nett und tut alles für einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Der Garten ist mit so viel Mosaikkunst und tollen Pflanzen geschmackvoll arrangiert. 100 % Wohlfühlfaktor.

From check in to check out Susana was extremely responsive. We loved the location of the apartment, walking distance to everything, it was exceptionally clean, light and very comfortable. Susana’s recommendations for dining out and coffee places were very helpful. We would definitely stay again when in Marbella.

We had an amazing two-week stay at this beautiful guesthouse with our 1.5-year-old son. The location is exactly as depicted in the photos, offering breathtaking views and a serene, private escape. The guesthouse was well-equipped and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including handy plastic containers for taking snacks to the beach or on sightseeing trips. While there is no microwave, the small oven was perfect for warming up food or cooking meals. One challenge was dealing with mosquitoes, so we had to stock up on supplies from the nearest supermarket to keep them away. However, this didn’t detract from our overall experience. Our host, Ute, was incredibly helpful and proactive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. An added bonus was that the property is also a winery, and their rosé was perfect for enjoying in the summer heat!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa — everything was just perfect! The view was truly stunning: we could see the mountains from one side and the sea from the second floor. The villa is beautifully designed and very cozy — it feels like home. It’s fully equipped with everything you might need for daily life and cooking, including a well-stocked kitchen, a barbecue, and even a first aid kit. Everything is chosen with great taste and attention to detail. The space is warm, inviting, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the bright, spacious kitchen — it made cooking together a joy! We’d love to come back again — thank you for such a soulful and welcoming place!

The house was lovely and the view was incredible. Carol was very accommodating and quick to respond. The house is 5 mins walk to the center of Gaucin. Parking wasn't a problem, although there isn't parking directly in front of the property its easy to drop stuff off and park at the end of the road. Even the furthest parking away from the house was only 5mins walk away. Dipping pool was great and house was cool (it was almost 40° the week we were there). Note, there is only air-conditioning in the primary bedroom but the house was cool enough and fans provided. Would definitely stay again!!
