Honestly the place we stayed was amazing, with the weather it really made it feel cozy. Not a single issue and any question we asked was answered within minutes. I would recommend this place all day long. It was really good for the dogs as well with an enclosed garden as well as a dog shower. With coal and fire wood provided as well, all is asked if you put in a donation which is fair enough as they do the hard work and we relax which was amazing. They offer a hot tub as well as an extra you don’t have to but I would definitely recommend as we spent most of our nights in it, with it being heat adjustable as well as the out door fairy lights it was just amazing. The whole pod was clean and tidy and they put out a doggy goody basket with treats water and a cloth. Honestly best place we have been for the money. There is an amazing pub nearby with quality food as well as loads of places to order from. Give this place a 10/10

Ann is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and it's really quiet. I had a good rest, which I needed. Location is good too, it's about 15 mins walk to the centre of Colchester. 100% recommended.
