We clean thoroughly by the highest standards. This is a beautiful historic home. Hardwood floors throughout. Lg rooms with lots of light. There is much to see blocks away. Visitor’s Center and the Library across the street. Just 25 minutes away from Nashville, IN, and 50 minutes from Downtown Indy. We provide all the amenities you need, including a fully equipped kitchen. Coffee Maker and Keurig. Even a blender. There is an electric fireplace and a relaxing enclosed porch.

It won’t be a hidden gem for long. This house and its surroundings are absolutely ideal for a family getaway. If there’s one word to sum it all up, it’s “comfortable.” Blending modern amenities with charming historic details, the home made our group of 10 feel instantly at ease. We cooked meals, gathered around for dinner, played cards, and shared stories—whether in the spacious living room, the open-concept kitchen, or the dining area, we could all stay connected. At the same time, anyone needing a nap could rest peacefully without being disturbed. Warm, welcoming, and absolutely worth the trip. Looking to book again for next years family gathering.

I loved staying here with my partner and will definitely be back! it was such a cozy, serene location and we really enjoyed looking out at the lake and quiet mornings on the covered patio overlooking the lake! The patio was particularly nice because it rained most of the time, but we could still feel like we were outside and enjoy the beautiful yard and lake!

A beautiful and peaceful place—quiet, yet close to everything. El Nopal was amazing (the ceviche was superb!). Gail and Chris were incredibly kind and wonderful to chat with. The thoughtful extras—like a candle, a bottle of wine, a variety of coffee, and even multi-device chargers on both sides of the bed—made the stay feel extra special. Highly recommend!

This is a gem of a place to stay. Beautiful inspiring inquire clean and cozy. The host was very responsive. She made sure the hot tub was in tip top shape. We enjoyed the back patio fire pit and twinkle lights too

Arrived in driving rain and hail with tornado sirens sounding. This solid home, which has stood for decades, was literally a welcome shelter in the storm. Once the weather cleared, we were able to easily access the architectural treasures of Columbus, as well as the trails in Mill Race Park.

My son and I had a great stay in the caboose! Beautiful scenery with so much to enjoy! Anita gave us a tour of the ranch, which included seeing kangaroos, longhorn cattle, highland cows, sloths, porcupines, and so much more! The first thing we saw when we got out of our car was a majestic bald eagle. It swooped out of the tree and soared right over the pond. Would stay here again!

Spent two nights here with my family for my husbands graduation. We wanted a place outside of Bloomington to avoid the crowds and busyness graduation weekend. This was the perfect spot! Very beautiful location out in the woods with alot of patio space and seating to enjoy the outside. The inside was very clean, well decorated, and spacious. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay to spend with family.
