This is a great place for your jungle adventures without spending on a "luxury" stay. It felt just as luxurious and even more private than we anticipated. Restaurant was tasty, there wasn't technically a "bar" to hang out but the common area was nice with a great view.

Wonderful stay at Hostal de la Rabida! We stayed for one night, made the mistake of booking in another place for the second night. The other place was so awful, we cancelled our reservation, forfeited our payment, and retreated right back to this place. The new owner Daniel is extremely kind and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed to feel very welcome and at home. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot hot hot. The place was very clean without being fumigated by crazy amounts of disinfectants that we experienced everywhere else. We found a great Indian restaurant - Chandani Tandoori ~ a short walk away with amazing food and even better prices. We even went there twice! We also found a wonderful vegan/vegetarian cafe with great food and good vibes called El Maple that was also within walking distance. We ate there 3 times in 24 hours! I would highly recommend a stay at Hostal de la Rabida to anyone traveling through Quito!

A perfect little room in a gorgeous hotel situated in the heart of Cuenca. The staff were attentive, helpful, and kind. If you don’t mind a small room, this is the perfect spot.

The hacienda was perfect for our groups weekend stay for a nearby wedding. Elisabeth and her husband were helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable stay, the hosts were always very kind, thoughtful and friendly. The decor of the place is beautiful, very set with a theme of the sea. The place has hammocks, chairs and bed to spend the whole day at the beach, very comfortable facilities.

The lodge is an excellent stay. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. The food is great when the chef is available. We chose to stay here so as to not be in the busy town, it’s lovely and tranquil, if that is what you’re looking for, it’s a perfect stay. It is 20 minutes and $10/$15 taxi into town though so take this into account.

A really beautiful place, everything is just as in the photos, very clean and those who looked after us were very friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back.

Just book it! Diego’s place was perfect for my solo trip! The staff is incredible and Diego communicates extremely well. I cannot recommend it enough! I was a female solo traveler and I had zero issues. They made me feel like at home. Great breakfast, clean peaceful place to sleep, it has a small place to prep food, the staff omg they were awesome! Super easy to get to from the airport via public transportation as the metro is 3 min away walking. I am sad to leave and will stay here again if coming back! Highly highly recommend!

We loved our stay, its close proximity to the beautiful beach, the fact that it had air conditioning, and Chris’s prompt communication. You can walk to Canoa or, like we did, bring all of your own food and eat meals at the house. The pool was nice, the gazebo/table/hammocks area was very nice, and convenient too. We recommend!

Great service, location, confy and spacious.

We stayed in Quinta María Isabel and it was a very pleasant experience. This restored house has a unique charm with wooden details that create a warm and cozy atmosphere. Located in the beautiful area of Nallig, just five minutes from Gualaceo, it is a good place to relax and spend a quiet stay. The hosts greet you personally, providing excellent and close attention. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. Definitely a place we'll be back to. Recommended!

It’s a great place with friendly hosts

Très Palmas is exactly where you need to stay for your trip in Montanita. Steps from the beach, extremely comfortable rooms, friendly staff and absolutely everything at your fingertips. Located a stones throw from the point break, this is THE BEST spot in town. Davide is the surf Jesus and an incredible coach, whether you’ve never ever paddled out or want local recommendations for the quieter local spots. Drinks and food are absolutely top notch and we’ve made friends for life! Thank you Geoff, Polette & Mike - we can’t wait to visit again. A+++ accommodations - best in the game. xx G&K

The island is expensive, which is why this home is too. Byron was really sweet and very helpful though. There is also the possibility of renting snorkeling equipment and a life jacket by him. Likewise, he is happy to help find a taxi

Colonial hotel in the heart of Cuenca. The owners and staff were excellent. I stayed a month and it was very nice in all ways.

Nice place... very quiet

A cozy suite, and the manager is very friendly. All the places he recommended were 10/10. The location is also very good, almost all the places are relatively close 👌🏼
