40 minutes by train from Kyoto! A private old house with a garden view, open-air bath, and mini-kitchen

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a truly wonderful stay at this house in a village near Kyoto. The home is incredibly cozy and spacious, with a stunning inner garden that brings such peace and serenity — a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house is in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It beautifully blends traditional architecture with modern comforts and technologies. The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. I couldn’t be happier with our stay — we enjoyed every moment and left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

A 150-year-old house built on the grounds of a shrine with a Japanese garden with a pond and a tea room, private rental for up to 6 people

The place is really amazing and the photos don't do it justice because it's so magical! The hosts are very welcoming and we enjoyed our exchanges during this matcha learning experience🍵. Our only regret is not being able to test the family-run restaurant which looks just as amazing, but maybe we'll have a chance to come back and correct that😉.
