Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Eastern Townships

Staying at Gail's place was a treat. I came durring the off-season which was quiet and peaceful. Most of the resort area is closed outside winter and summer but there is a small market open during the day for convieniences. It's also a short drive away from many small towns. Standouts were Stowe and Waterbury which were wonderful to visit. There are so many trails to checkout in the area. Hiking up the mountain just outside the apartment is great and has an amazing view at sunset. Camels hump and various trails in the notch were awesome. It was even close enough where I took a day trip into the White Mountains. I stayed for 27 days. Durring the week I work remotely. The internet was enough for large conference calls with video during the day and I had no issues. In the evening there is a noticible slowdown. The Wifi is shared throughout the resort. The kitchen was easy to work with. And when you open the balcony door there is a small stream that offers fantastic white noise.

Great place, exactly as described and in the pictures. Super quiet and yet so conveniently located. Everything I needed was there and Leila sent messages as the information became important rather than front-loading everything in the beginning. If another trip to Montreal is in my future I'll most definitely try to stay there again.

Great place. Host was very responsive and welcoming. Place was homey and very clean. Loved the location - quiet but right in town, local restaurants within walking distance. Lots of little extras that made it feel very comfortable and put a smile our faces. Thank you.

We are so happy to have stayed at Urban Zen in Québec City. From the detailed directions and instructions to the beautiful accommodations, our stay was wonderful! Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable bed and luxurious linens and towels made our holiday extra special. Nadine was an attentive host and quick to respond to questions. The walk from Urban Zen to the old part of the city was less than 30 minutes and full of nice cafes and restaurants. It was great to just park the car and explore! Close to bikes paths and parks. We loved every minute of our stay! Thanks Nadine!

Philippe’s place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was our first time in this area so took us a bit of time to realize how well it is situated! Walking distance to both Saint Roch (Rue Saint Joseph) area and Rue Saint Jean shops and restaurants plus just a short drive to the Videotron Centre. We travelled by car so having a parking spot on site was super convenient. Philippe was a welcoming, friendly host who responded to our questions in a timely way. Thanks!!

Great place in a very popular area lots of restaurant options close by as well as a few supermarkets allowing us to cook a few times as well. There was an issue with the washing machine however the host provided a satisfactory solution which worked well. Would stay there again

We enjoyed our stay and the many amenities of this apt. Having parking and a walk to the Old City was great! Host was very responsive and helpful.

Very good location. Short walk to sight seeing areas and very close to transportation. Nice and clean unit with everything we needed available. Marlène is a good communicator and was very accommodating to my requests. Very happy with our stay!

Mathiu's place is super clean and very well-equipped. You have everything you need for cooking, laundry, swimming, BBQ, etc. It's also well-located, about 5 minutes of driving and 22 minutes of walking to Old quebec attractions. Supermarket, pharmacy are just around the corner. But it's right beside a main street, it's a bit noise in early mornings. And there is a homeless center behind the parking building. It will be appreciated if there are some earplugs and shower caps. We've stayed two nights, and all in all it's a pleasant experience, highly recommended!

Just awesome. Slopeside access, close to Tram Side and right on Grammy Jay which was easy for the littles to get the day started on the way to the double. When it was cold (once) we used the fireplace and the condo warms up quickly. Plenty of hot water. A near perfect stay. Fantastic!

A beautiful 1-bedroom apartment. The kitchen is fully-equipped. Many, many amenities, including comfortable beds, a washer/dryer, clean towels, and, in the kitchen, plenty of dishes, pots and pans, an air-fryer...

We had a wonderful stay at Marc’s condo! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location for exploring Quebec City. Marc was an incredibly responsive and thoughtful host, providing clear instructions and helpful reminders throughout our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, and we really appreciated the small details that made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again — highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment in convenient area of Quebec City! The apartment is clean, spacious, and well laid out, with everything you would need for your stay. The bed is comfortable. The building is relatively quiet. it is about a 20 minute walk to the art museum and 30 minutes to the Château Frontenac. There is a lovely roof deck and an exercise room that you have access to. The host, Ginette, was very good with communication, responding rapidly to my questions. The only issues, which were entirely out of control of the host, were that there was a lot of construction in the neighborhood, so it was somewhat difficult to navigate by car to and from the building and to walk in the area. Also, the fire alarm went off at 7 in the morning, forcing evacuation of the building, followed by the building water being shut off without notice for several hours, and when it was restored, there was no hot water for another couple of hours. The host responded promptly to all of my messages about this.

Beautiful place and the location was close to everything I needed. St. Roch neighbourhood had excellent eateries and amenities but walking distance to Old Quebec City. The place was extremely quiet and lovely. The rooftop terrace was amazing. Enjoyed using the bbq at night.

Beautiful & Convenient. Our family of four (adult sons) used Mike's place for homebase for a visit to the White Mountains. His home was not only beautiful but serene and comfortable. We loved waking up to nature every morning and enjoying the home theater after a day exploring trails.

Liz was a fantastic host & the house was exactly what we expected. We were there for a rainy long weekend, the house offered so many different things to do so we were never bored! Liz was extremely responsive and helpful when we needed her. Highly recommend staying at this house! Knockout in the indoor court and ping pong were a couple of our weekend highlights. Also, our kiddo loved this house for hide and seek! Just an overall fun weekend thanks to a great space & helpful host.

This was my family's first time visiting Canada and after our wonderful weeklong stay at Stephane's airbnb, we can't wait to come back! The house is absolutely beautiful, has plenty of space for guests, and is in a private and peaceful setting. Lots of nice restaurants and shops within a short drive. My oldest daughter and I attended the Formula 1 Grand Prix over the weekend portion of our stay and felt that the commute to Old Montreal (around an hour) was not bad at all.

Samantha and Chris's place was a perfect spot for a Smugglers Notch getaway! it's a beautiful home, perfect for a family of 4. Even in cold temperatures( at -5F and lower) with lots of snow, the place was cozy warm with the wood burning furnace (clean and devoid of smoke) as well a propane heater downstairs. Literally 2 turns from the slopes of a great family ski mountain! But the views and location of the property were amazing for those wanting to do other things than ski. Samantha was responsive and an excellent communicator. I have to throw in that everything in their kitchen was in excellent condition (every appliance) including sharp functional chef knives (an uncommon phenomenon for a renter) Thank you Samantha and Chris! Sharing your home with us was a touch- stone of great new family memories!

Haven in the Hollows was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with friends for my husband’s 40th birthday. The house was incredible and we were sad the weather wasn’t nice enough for us to make use of the private pond & firepit! We did get some use out of the hot tub which was pristine! House was very clean and looked just like the pictures in the listing! The host was very responsive to questions making things super easy. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future trips to VT!

This is our 2nd time at this beautiful home in the mountains. The views are stunning and the hot tub is amazing. We'll definitely be back again and would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful getaway.
