Cottage vacation rentals in Eastern Townships

This was a great getaway! It was the perfect size house for the three of us. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped (especially compared to other places I’ve stayed). Emmy was responsive and available. I wish we could have stayed here longer!

Notre séjour s’est très bien déroulé. Le chalet était très bien, très confortable. Nous avons apprécié le foyer extérieur et le spa. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Chris’s place is one of the best stay’ve been to. Some of the highlights were as follows but for us the biggest was the tiny little waterfall and steam next to the house. With windows open, the perpetual sound of water flowing through the stream was out of nature’s best book!! Other highlights included: - Gorgeous and spic clean home - Lots of ways you can engage kids - Completely equipped home from kitchen to baths, to games, to kayaks - Chis was always available to support and respond. The only negative we’ve experienced was that house could be better equipped against mosquitoes. We could barely enjoy the gorgeous outdoors deck or the hot-tub due to mosquitoes. We certainly dont expect Chirs can take care of them all, but some more measures like covering the bath tub area or upper deck would make the place like a dream!! That said, we are ever so thankful for the opportunity to stay here, and what’ll always be a cherished memory!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Gabie. La maison est coquette et a beaucoup de charme en plus d’être parfaitement située pour accéder à la montagne coupée. Nous nous y sommes bien reposé.

J'y suis allée en weekend avec mon copain et l'endroit était impeccable. L'intérieur est chaleureux. Je recommande!

Demeure alliant charme et confort. Malgré une arrivée plus tôt que prévu Marie-Pier nous a accueilli avec gentillesse. Quartier paisible avec les services à proximité. Parc régional de Portneuf à 25 minutes où randonnées et canot vous attendent à des prix très attractifs (juste ne pas oublier le répulsif à moustiques). Séjour excellent

Très belle place ! Manque de serviettes mais le reste était vraiment très bien! Le chalet nous a permis de prendre du temps de repos bien apprécié 😀 Le propriétaire était accueillant, disponible et professionnel. Merci beaucoup !

Libby’s cottage is so quaint and beautiful! The rural Vermont scenery was so peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved the rocking chairs on the porch. Libby and her family were so friendly and made us feel right at home. My toddler loved playing with her kids, who so kindly showed him all over their beautiful property! Their dog is so sweet, too! We had such a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Beu chalet très tranquille, au bord d’un petit lac. Barbara est super gentille et sympathique, elle répond rapidement aux messages et elle est extrêmement généreuse.

Leslie was very responsive and helpful before the trip. The place was even more beautiful than expected. The Google address leads to a few houses before, but the description of the driveway helped us find the right location. It was the perfect location to relax for the weekend.

Wat een mooi licht huis met uitzicht op bos en rivier, zelfs vanuit het bed. We hadden een korte mindere start doordat de schoonmaakster niet het juiste bedlinnen klaar gelegd voor het 3de bed, de bbq deed het niet en er stond vieze vaat in de kast. Waarom dan toch 5 sterren? Kate loste het snel en goed op. Dank je wel! En het huis was gewoon geweldig! Hier had ik zo graag langer willen blijven. Technisch mooie materialen, uitgebreide keuken, goed groot bed.

Cristal’s chalet is absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. It’s located right on the lake, which makes mornings extra special, you can enjoy your coffee while watching the sunrise over the water. Cristal is super friendly and easy to communicate with. The place was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. I had friends visiting from the States, and they were completely blown away by the stunning nature and the charm of the property. It’s a solid 10 out of 10, we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful time staying at Louise's chalet! The house is just as gorgeous as it seems in the photos. It's surrounded on all sides by beautiful trees, and we were able to appreciate the views from every room, thanks to all the windows. We loved being able to explore the nearby towns of Sutton and Knowlton. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay, and Louise was super friendly and responsive to every question we had. We definitely plan to come back again!

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. My boys loved sledding on the hill off the front porch the most. We wished it was warmer while we were there to be able to enjoy the property more and try the snowshoes Amy was graciously willing to lend us. This is a great place to stay as a family with plenty of things to do within an hour radius. Thanks Amy!

Very clean cabin. Secluded area close to Orford and Magog.

Absolutely beautiful area and gorgeous home that is meticulously maintained! If you want a place to stay that is away from it all you can’t bear this home. It was very clean. There is Owls Head golf course just down the road which is beautiful with spectacular view and a great restaurant. There is a small grocery store very close in Mansonville along with a nice coffee shop and another great restaurant. Honestly just driving around the dirt roads in Mansonville, Potton and Highwater will literally take your breath away, the views are unmatched. There is plenty to do within 30-60 minutes (especially if you like the outdoors) but why would you ever want to leave this place. If you need somewhere to get away and clear your head look no further, this is it!

Super hôte et un endroit magnifique, je recommande!

Il s’agit d’un des meilleurs logements que j’ai réservés en plus de 10 ans. Nous étions 4 adultes et 3 enfants de 3 ans et moins, et le logement est exceptionnel pour voyager avec des enfants. Par contre, nous avons eu un enjeu avec le chauffage qui ne fonctionnait pas dans l’une des chambres, ce qui était un enjeu puisque c’était la chambre où le plus jeune bébé dormait et que la température ne montait pas à plus de 17 degrés. Autrement, nous avons tout adoré!

This was a beautiful place that we would highly recommend. If we are back in the area and it is available we would want to book here again.

My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay a Hôtel À La Maison’s place in West Bolton, just a short drive East of Knowlton. The property felt secluded and private, even for being near the road. The simple cottage was nice inside and we felt comfortable and at home during our entire stay. The back dining room was wonderful for remote work, with a views of the forest and the sounds of birds. Hôtel À La Maison was very helpful, and gave us a recommendation for getting our vehicle's tire plugged. We were sad to leave, as we could see ourselves staying the entire week. We will keep this place on the top of our list when visiting the area in the future.

We had a lovely visit to Crystal lake. Kristine’s place was cute and cozy. Perfect for the two of us, but might have been difficult with additional people. The only drawback was the over scenting. We are both scent sensitive so we just took the plug in and left it outside for our stay which really helped us. We had a couple of hot nights but Kristine was kind enough to bring an air conditioner for the last two nights which really helped cool us down and let us get some decent sleep. All in all we had a lovely time.

Très bon séjour en famille. Le chalet était propre, fonctionnel et conforme à la description. Tout est propice au repos en pleine nature.

Anna's place was very comfortable, we felt right at home, the living area is very nice, the kitchen is particularly well furbished and the garden is beautiful. Anna always replied right away when we wrote to her. Unfortunately for us the weather was terrible and we asked for an early check in , and later for a late check out, each time in order to be able to have lunch at the place, but we did not ask soon enough and it has not been possible. So if you plan for a extra meal at the cottage, be organized and ask in advance.
