House vacation rentals in Eastern Europe

Our family, and especially our kids (ages 17-23), loved Mia's place. Plenty of room for all five of us, a beautiful yard/garden, and fantastic pool that we used multiple times a day. While a little outside of the city center, it was an easy walk to the tram and a quick trip in. Stadium, zoo, cafe, grocery, and a few restaurants are also very close by. Easy check-in, great host communication/responsiveness, and gated driveway parking. Loved the pastries/desserts too - thank you! Could not recommend more.

If your idea of paradise is fabulous views from outside dining, bedrooms and infinity pool, this is the villa for you. So peaceful and private with birdsong amongst the flowers, strawberries and olive trees. It felt like our home away from home. The villa is spotlessly clean with plenty of towels for the 2.5 bathrooms and swimming pool. A central location to use as a base to explore different aspects of Istria including the hill top villages and diverse coastal areas. The host Marjana, is warm and. delightful. She and her partner want to make your stay very memorable.

We spent an incredible stay in your house, the design and location are outstanding. And it’s a beautiful combination of architecture, design and nature!

Luka was one of the most welcoming hosts we have ever had, he responded to queries very quickly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly. The property is in the most beautiful location and offered a really peaceful break. Previous reviews have mentioned the building work, this was barely noticeable during the day and certainly didn’t impact on the enjoyment of the villa.

The place was great. Contact was very good. Check-in/out was easy. The location is great, 1 minute to the sea with beautiful clear water. Minor “issues” were resolved right away. For example, the gas bottle for grilling was empty, we immediately got a new one the next day. Great! It was a pity that the awning was missing on the terrace, so it was very warm there during the day, so we put an umbrella from the pool on the terrace. It was also a pity that (as I think) the cleaning ladies really dispose of everything or take it with them. As a result, the kitchen is completely empty. No spices, no oil/vinegar, no pepper/salt….. Usually I am used to the kitchen having a small basic equipment, or unused food from the previous owner remaining in the apartment. No reason to deduct a star for that :)! Maybe a suggestion for improvement for the future. Still 10/10. Thank you!

We stayed at the apartment for 7 nights and we had a fantastic holiday. Ivona and Michael were amazing hosts. Micheal recommend plenty of day trips, restaurants and sightseeing spots. Michael gave us a tour of the apartment and pool area and helped with anything we needed. Ivona was very responsive and helped us arrange our return transfers. We loved all of the little special touches in the apartment, felt like home away home. This apartment and the hosts exceeded our expectations. Location is perfect! Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing. We loved every second of staying here. Very secluded, if you decided you didn’t want to see ANYONE for a few days this is the place to go. The walk to the private beach is not easy (so be cautious) but definitely worth it. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed for cooking! The outside grill was awesome, we probably used it every night for dinner. SO BEAUTIFUL.. even better than the pictures!! 100% recommend to anyone who wants to experience Croatia in its raw form.

We loved everything about the cabin! Everything was spotless clean and thought through. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoors is just stunnig. It rained our whole stay so we did not use the outdoor gym but we would have liked that very much. We felt welcomed and at home. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer. You want regret staying there for sure 😊

A slice of Swedish forest paradise. Such a lovely space with beautiful and thoughtful touches, an extremely helpful guide to the area and even tips for lighting a fire! The sauna is amazing too. You won’t regret a stay here! Five stars is not enough.

This place is amazing! Right on the water and close to all the fun things Rovinj has to offer.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The view was stunning and we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Highly recommended!

We had such a lovely few days staying in Line’s garden cabin. The cabin is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and the garden was private and secluded. Line welcomed us on arrival and was incredibly warm and friendly, and very helpful with local recommendations. The cabin was perfectly located with great transport links. We could enjoy being in the city in the day and then retreat to the quiet cabin in the evening. We cannot wait to stay again, thank you Line!

Saana's villa is beautiful. The house was very clean, the amenities high quality. The view from the inside of the house as well as from the beautiful and large terrace is fantastic. Saana is an excellent host. She is very nice and helpful and always responds quickly. The villa is highly recommended.

My family and I had a great stay. Kristina and Linus have really built a welcoming and beautiful place that you feel at home in right away. The contact with the hosts was smooth and pleasant. We immediately felt that we wanted to come back when we were on our way home. Can't do anything but really recommend the accommodation, and the hosts!

We booked spontaneously because another trip was canceled and ended up in one of the most beautiful accommodations we have discovered on Airbnb so far! The wonderful forest with enchanting castle ruins right outside the front door rounded off a fantastic long weekend! We didn't want to go home anymore! A really great house! We felt very comfortable. The house is very nice and really has everything you need. We were there with our two small children and there was everything! Toys for outdoors and indoors. In the end, our older daughter said she would like to stay here ☺️ The property is great. There is everything for both parents and children. A sauna, fireplace, jetty into the water, playhouse and sandbox. Peter and Lovisa were super nice. They always helped us very quickly and also inquired! We totally recommend it!

We spent an incredible 6 nights here. The views are out of this world. We loved the easy access to Sveta Nedilja's small but beautiful beach just below the house. The property has so many options for outside seating and lounging, and every corner is as beautiful as the next. We also loved the local restaurant, a 2 minute walk away! Marija is a wonderful, warm and kind host who made us feel so welcome. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Perfect for relaxing in the mountains. Personally I was most surprised by the views, Babia Góra was visible from the cottage, and after a short walk of the Tatras and the Pieniny. Wonderful hot tub, barbecue area, well-equipped kitchen, attention to comfort, aesthetics, close to the lake and an hour from Zakopane, absolutely everything is a plus :)

We had a great experience staying at Marin’s place, he was such a great host, super friendly and always ready to help if we needed anything. The apartment was lovely and comfortable with everything you need and fantastic views. The possibility to use his bicycles was great! One of the most beautiful bike rides we’ve experienced, such gorgeous views! We’d love to come back again sometime and would really recommend staying at Vanja C!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Osojnik. The area is so peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to unwind and recharge. We especially loved spending our days sunbathing by the pool and just enjoying the calm surroundings. The house itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed! It was exactly the kind of restful escape we were hoping for, and we already can’t wait to come back. Thank you for such a perfect stay!

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

We had a fantastic holiday in Caterina and Massimo's lovely and warm home. Located in a peaceful and lively neighborhood, it's ideal for relaxing after discovering Venice. Our hosts were really lovely, welcoming and responsive, even offering to book the taxi for us. The decoration and all the details of the house have been thought out and made with care and great taste. The neighbors are lovely, yes there are people who live in this neighborhood which makes the atmosphere even more unique! It's simple, we felt "at home" and didn't want to leave at all!
