Houseboat vacation rentals in Eastern Europe

Super nice place and absolutely perfect for 2 people This isn't the last time we'll be renting the houseboat. We had planned 3 days, but it turned into 4 nights 😊

Two people, with two dogs we spent 12 days on the Störtebeker.Bereits entering the houseboat we felt arrived. The "center/heart" of the boat was the kitchen for us, where we enjoyed all meals at the open window, right on the water. You have to experience this view over the landscape, the peace and the feeling associated with it. So you feel lucky. But every place on this beautiful houseboat is special and very lovingly designed. The beds were very comfortable and we especially liked the ecological spirit that was lived everywhere. The boat and the magnificent property really offer everything from privacy, to pure relaxation. In the evening on the upper deck to end the day, will not be the only thing we will miss. Due to this, we want to come back.

Adventure for sure. We took our 6 and 10 year old hoping to find a different perspective of the island of Vis and this does just that. We met Kreso, the skipper, and he took us to the boat from the ferry. We knew we would paddle board into dinner and found a lovely restaurant,Boccadoro. Got back to the boat before the early summer storm and had a great thunderstorm sleep in the spacious cabins. Mornings are delightful. Kreso comes at 10am to take us to a beautiful cove of Stoncica where we had a liter of vugava and olives and warm bread on the beach. We had wonderful weather overnight. We met the skipper again and headed to the blue cave, tunnel and spend the afternoon near Rogačić ending in the bay of Vis to catch the ferry in the A.M. 1. Less is more except with warm evening wear and snacks, card games 2. Be flexible and adventurous. This is not a yacht, quarters are spacious but simple 3. Communication is key but also know NO one can control weather or your expectations.

This place is Gem! Quiet, comfortable and easy to get to - this place was the perfect getaway for 3 adults and 1 child. It’s a houseboat but you can hardly tell that it moves in the water at all. We used the diving board, espresso machine and fireplace daily. Felt very at home - our 4 year old had plenty of toys to entertain himself with. This place is very quiet and relaxing, and the sunsets are beautiful through the large expansive warehouse windows. If you enjoy creative details and handmade touches, this place ignites your creativity and you can feel the unique custom made nature of everything around you. A beautiful houseboat, very well equipped, in a perfect location.

A dream of a vacation! Even the welcome by a family member was extraordinarily warm and we felt comfortable from the first second. The houseboat is in a fantastic location. Ducks and swans like to come by for a visit. The peripheral position on the jetty is advantageous. The amenities are chosen with a lot of love and everything is sparkling clean. The kitchen is more than adequately equipped for the kitchen. Absolutely nothing is missing. Fresh herbs are available and who should be missing spices - all there. If it rains, the usual electronic media, but also traditional games for children and adults, are richly available. What pleasantly surprised us was the extensive library with a varied selection of different genres. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly, almost loving care by the hostess who comes from this area. We will back, for sure

If you are looking for peace and want to escape everyday life, this is the place to be. Very nice contact, great staff who explain everything exactly and answer every question. Great introduction and easy operation. The raft is equipped with everything you need for a stay - whether for a short trip or a few days. Pure nature - picturesque landscape and beautiful lakes with species-rich flora and fauna. It was a wonderful getaway. Highly recommended. We will be happy to book again!

Great view, friendly staff. It is nicely located, close to bus stop. Terrace could be a bit bigger- it wasn't enough for 4 people. Beside that everything was great!

Spent two days in the houseboat and it was really great, super nice location, nice host and nice walking paths and beach nearby. Will gladly return next year!

The houseboat is the perfect place to enjoy nature. A very special experience is the arrival by small electric boat. You can watch birds and even beavers from the terrace, and Andrej's cat visits again and again. In the house and on the property, everyone is available to spend a relaxing holiday right on the water.

Everything was perfect! The place looked exactly like the photos—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The location was great, easy access to everything we needed. The host was super helpful and responsive to all our questions. Would definitely stay here again. Me and my girlfriend went there for a birthday occasion and Benjamin arranged and left a birthday cake in the cottage plus balloons which we did not even ask for it! It was one of the amazing and relaxing Airbnb we’ve ever stayed! Definitely recommend it! Don’t even think about twice for this cottage, just go for it :)

A truly fantastic place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The atmosphere here is incredibly peaceful, allowing you to unwind and recharge. The surroundings are breathtaking, with a perfect balance of nature and tranquility. It was absolutely amazing to spend time here — the quiet and serenity made it the ideal getaway from the urban noise. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

The houseboat is super nicely located! You have a huge lake right in front of the terrace. A beautiful sun deck and a variety of leisure activities (kayaking, jet skiing, water skiing, volleyball, etc.). The beach invites you to swim and the host is always available and very friendly! Definitely a recommendation!

Thomas organized everything well. Communication was impeccable. The location is unbeatable, the view priceless. I found it a bit cumbersome to have to supply myself with drinking water. Those who like to camp will get their money's worth. Thanks to Thomas and his team.

Marija and her husband are the friendliest hosts we have ever had anywhere. Super responsive and would go to the moon and back to help. The place is beautiful, although some noise is to be expected from the battery on the boat. nothing we couldn't manage

What a great place, on the beautiful Bicaz lake. We were able to relax because the sun worked!

The place is nice if you're looking for some peace and quiet from everyday life. We were hiking in Saxon Switzerland and relaxed on the terrace in the evening. The host gave us a very good tip for getting into Saxon Switzerland, about 15 min. away by car. We probably wouldn't have found it otherwise. All in all, it was perfect for us.

It was a wonderful 4-day getaway for two on the sensational houseboat of Michaela and Hubertus. So relaxing, so quiet, surrounded by nature. Drink coffee in the morning, look over the lake, watch birds, then swim, read…wonderful. And all in this lovingly furnished boat. We will be back!

Our first stay on a houseboat and we enjoyed it a lot. Super nicely equipped boat with cozy corners to linger on. We felt immediately welcome and at home. Our seven-month-old daughter also loved the slight swing. The private neighbors were also very nice to us.

We enjoyed it on the houseboat. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit stormy and rainy. So we could only use the terrace 1 afternoon. Amenities as described, tip-top. For 3 people rather tight. Thanks, Daniel and Stefanie
