Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Eastern coast of Cantabria

We had a weekend the whole family. Toñi is very attentive. The house is very nice, and it doesn't lack anything, the barbecue and the porch are a delight. Highly recommended. We've been very comfortable.

There were 12 of us in the house, couples with children, and whatever I say would fall short. The house is spectacular in every way, location, cleanliness, size, comfortable, we thought it was amazing and we will definitely be back!! Rebeca is very friendly and helpful. It's well worth it.

The place was spotless, adjusted to what was described in the listing. In a quiet neighborhood, with surrounding land and very well located for excursions, both in Cantabria and the Basque Country. The deal with Cristina was great, responding quickly to questions and looking out for us. Thank you Cristina and your husband.

A charming house in a beautiful neighborhood

Casa Merino is in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood in the mountains. In order to get into town (Castro Urdiales) and easily get to other areas of Cantabria, hiring a car or bringing your own is recommended. Pilar was very communicative and there to welcome us when we arrived. The house was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Pilar also readily answered queries during our stay and gave recommendations. We would happily recommend Casa Merino.

We traveled as a family, a married couple and two teenagers, the house of the palm trees met all our expectations, the host was always attentive whenever necessary. The cleanliness is impeccable, the living room and sitting area are very spacious and comfortable. Everything is very well equipped, kitchen with plenty of kitchenware, full bathrooms. Impeccable linens, sheets and towels. Very nice views. Highly recommended.

The flat is in a superb location, with access to a beautiful beach without crossing a road. Car parking is safe and easily accessed, same applies to the flat itself. The flat is compact and well appointed. The balcony space affords excellent views of beach and beyond, and is a sun-trap from noon onwards. Spotlessly clean. We stayed in mid-May. The weather was very good, warm and dry. We did not spend much time in the town, but when I drove through there seemed to be all the amenities you would expect. The local supermarket (LIDL) was easily accessed and well-stocked. The location allows for a beach holiday or using the flat as a base to tour the area, which is exceptionally scenic and offers a lot of different options. Maria is a delightful, helpful host. I intend to return asap.

We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs in many countries over the past ten years. This might be my favorite ever. The pictures give one an idea, but the views are even more impressive in person. The owners are clearly people of discerning taste, as they have made great choices throughout with furnishings and even the windows, which open entirely to create a terrace of the dining room. The beds and showers are top notch. There’s a nice bialetti style moka pot for coffee and the kitchen is well equipped. Manuel was an excellent communicator. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. The beach and town are enchanting and nearby towns make for excellent day trips. We hope to return to this very special place.

The apartment is fantastic. It is spacious with plenty of storage and amenities. It had a working washing machine with facilities to dry on the balcony - this was useful as we had been travelling beforehand. There is a swimming pool which we didn’t use, however, it looked clean and very inviting! The area is perfect. A lovely coastal walk nearby and a place to generally chill overlooking the sea. The host gave very clear photos and instructions of how to check in etc. The only slight negative would be the check in time, which was 5pm. I feel this is quite late in terms of other properties. We were able to check in around 4pm which helped.

Diana's apartment is equipped with everything you could need, even groceries are partially provided. We were traveling with 2 children and Diana offered us a baby bed for our little one, as well as extra protection for all doors and windows. What you should know, however, is that the apartment is on the 5th floor WITHOUT an elevator and the windows are not renovated. That means a little workout every day and unfortunately a little light-sounding, but the shutters darken top. But all this did not bother us. Only the water quality with a strong chlorine taste left something to be desired, but that is difficult to change. Overall, we liked it very much and we can highly recommend the apartment and its surroundings for a stay as a family.

We were very comfortable in the accommodation. Suitable for traveling with pets. In the middle of nature.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarai’s apartment as a couple with a young baby and a grandmother along with us. The apartment is extremely clean and tidy, with all listed amenities - perfect as a base to explore Cantabria and Santander. The terrace was lovely in the sunshine! Also, Sarai made sure there was a baby cot and baby high chair (and even left a teddy bear and baby towel!). We would heartily recommend this apartment!

My partner and I were going to enjoy a weekend of disconnection and it really met expectations. If we return to Colindres one day, we will definitely consider this apartment again.

The host is very friendly and helpful!There are many shops near the house, and it is close to the beach!The house is on the fifth floor and has an elevator. Not only that, we want to praise the host's hospitality. We love the variety of coffee machines, which are convenient and meet everyone's needs.

A lovely little apartment for a couple of nights stop in Suances, Carlos was very helpful and gave great instructions to find and access the apartment, nice little garden for our dog. Very comfortable bed

The apartment was super clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Very well located in an area with lots of bars and restaurants but zero noise. And the area, of course, is beautiful.

Diana was so lovely, she did a great job explaining everything despite the language barrier. The flat is in a private location in a beautiful building with everything you could possibly need. The apartment is walking distance to restaurants, beach etc and we managed to find parking outside.

It’s a good sleep there, apartments decorated very new.have all the appliances for cooking.

Very nice apartment! Very peaceful place. The host responds very quickly and is very friendly. We went to downtown Bilbao by subway. I think it's the best, punctual, you can get to the historic center in 30 minutes. We left the car parked on the street near the apartment. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen with dishes for cooking and more. Highly recommended!!
