Nous sommes restés deux jours chez Sue, nous avons passé noël la bas. Honnêtement, je n’ai rien à dire de négatif. Tout été conforme à la descprition. Sue nous a accueilli très gentiment et s’est rendue disponible pour nous. Nous ne regrettons rien de ce séjour et nous vous le recommandons les yeux fermés ! ☺️

Lovely and authentic farm experience!

Our stay was utterly peaceful. Mountain ranges hem you in from the East and the West. Aside from the comfortable and clean accommodation, with all the amenities to comfortably tale care of oneself, the garden is full of ancient and still growing trees brimming with birds to soothe your soul. The hosts are kind and curious, without being at all imposing. I can highly recommend this spot for anyone who would like to rekindle their relationship with tranquility and authenticity.

Sally was very friendly and the property is lush, green and full of birds to watch and hear. Can recommend!

Er was een misverstand omdat er uit de tekst blijkt dat er een volledige keuken beschikbaar is voor de gasten maar het is een keuken voor het personeel. Als compensatie kregen we alle ontbijten aangeboden gratis. We namen er ook ons avondeten en was heel lekker. Michiel de gast was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Was een een heel leuk en origineel verblijf !

Der Bauernhof von Mike und Nita ist wunderschön. Eine liebevolle Oase der Ruhe und des Friedens. Man ist wirklich Gast im Leben der Beiden und sie lassen einen daran teilhaben. Sie sind beide sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Eine Freude zwei Nächte bei ihnen gewesen zu sein. Das Frühstück ist übrigens auch wunderbar und die Lage ist für den Addo Elephantenpark ideal. Bettenqualität ist hervorragend.

If you are looking to disconnect with real life and connect with nature then this is the place to go! We had a lovely stay at River Lodge at Karoo Ridge Conservancy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and considerate with providing a camping cot and feeding chair for our baby and a net over the pool. Everything you need is there. We also did some of the hikes from the River Lodge and went for a great game drive with sundowners. Our dogs enjoyed the space as well. With no cell reception and WIFI at the lodge (only available at the reception shop), this is exactly what we need d for our breakaway. We will definitely visit again.

Great local for Mountain Zebra Park and the Cradock area. Also great stop over. Beautiful farm with interesting rock formation in the stream next to the cabin.

We loved the place the minute we walked into the cottage. Everything you need (and beyond) is there and the view over the valley is amazing. Michelle's place also offers some amazing walks in the forest, and it is a great place for bird watchers. This is a place for nature lovers and it is super easy to immerse into it. Having said this it is still a very comfortable place and Michelle does everything to make that this feels like a home-away-from home. What a beautiful place and for sure we will book it again!

This was a lovely place to stay. Very convenient location, beautifully designed little cabin for two. Well stocked, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and with lots of warm bedding. The hosts are gracious , warm and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

What an amazing experience. We were so relaxed and enjoyed the tranquility that the farm had to offer. Just hearing the birds chirping was magical. Loved the outside bath, which I got to try out. Waldo was so welcoming, recommended the Plett wine & bubbly festival (which was amazing). Assisted us in getting the fire going in order to have braai on the Saturday evening. Definitely recommend the place.

Nous avons passés un bon séjour dans ce logement perdu au milieu d'un désert de cactus, le cadre était très beau et dépaysant. Attention cependant, la route pour y accéder (R400) est assez difficile d'accès (graviers, trous...), je vous recommande de venir avec une voiture relativement haute, au risque de mettre bien plus de temps que prévu pour accéder au logement

This was my wife and I's first garden route trip and also had our 2 young boys. It was such a treat to stay here for a few nights, Tanja and her family definitely have an amazing gift of hospitality and hearing a bit of the history of the property was also sweet. Unbelievable sunsets!! Great home base to explore the surrounding area. We didn't manage to explore the hiking trails as much as we would've liked but we look forward to that next time! Book it whenever you can and enjoy!

The Cottage at Wetlands exceeded my expectations. Everything was so perfect and was great attention to detail. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend staying there. I know I will be staying there again.

Wir waren für vier Nächte in der wunderschönen Unterkunft von Lydia auf ihrer Farm. Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und schick eingerichtet. auch für Familien ist es sehr gut geeignet, es gibt eine Verbindungstür zwischen beiden Suiten. Um unseren Aufenthalt komfortabel zu gestalten, haben wir sogar ein Babybett und Hochstuhl erhalten. Lydia zeigte uns alles und war immer erreichbar und freundlich. Wir konnten eigenständig über die Farm laufen und die Hühner und Pferde anschauen. Der Strand ist nicht weit entfernt und die Lage zur Nähe von Porto Elizabeth und Addo Elephant Park sind sehr gut. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Aufenthalt.

Peaceful, rustic farm living with a great view and incredible sunsets. Spacious bedrooms and living area and nice big outside space for kids to play. Close to some good hikes, a lovely beach (Buffalo Bay), a river for canoeing and farmers markets. And not too far away if you need to head into town (Knysna or Wilderness).

Very private and beautiful house,great hosts very responsive. We really felt relaxed and at home, My daughters and I highly recommend Carol's place.

After a long road on our way to Knysna, this was a wonderful stopover. It is a bit far off the main road and therefore it will be better to stay there for another day. It is rest for the soul. Diane is a superb host. This farm house experience will stay in our memories for a long time. We travel to and from Knysna often, and we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for a lovely place to stay.

What an absolutely lovely place! Beautiful home with comfortable areas outside. The best surprise was Angeline's freshly baked bread in the dover. what a luxurious treat!

Best stay by far. Host, Deborah, was very accommodating, responded timeously, allowed us to pick some herbs from the garden and introduced us to her horses. Accommodation was fantastic. Kitchen has all the essentials, house was neat and well kept and more than enough space for a group to be comfortable and enjoy their stay, whether outside around the fire pit, on the patio by the pool with a view of the mountains, or inside in the lounge watching TV with a fire going. Perfectly located, allowing you to enjoy the quiet bush getaway, while also just a short drive to the Plett beaches or the Tsitsikamma adventure activities, giving you an all round get away. Definitely recommend.
