If you're looking for a place in Plett for a family holiday with young kids (ours are 9 & 6) then this is a superb house. Nice safe and peaceful complex, communal areas are clean, the pools are great, and the house has everything you need. BUT please note the 3rd outside bedroom is actually tiny. It's a double bed, right up against the wall. My parents (Granny and Granddad) also joined us and no way they could use that as a bedroom. They can't climb over each other to get out of bed! So they moved into the 2nd bedroom and our kids slept on mattresses on the floor for 10 nights. The outside room is perfect for 1 teenager/adult. The house is well equipped, and lots to do on rainy days. It definitely needs some TLC and in need of a modernization but overall a good family holiday house in Plett.

This is not the 1st time that I have been at John's place. And I will continue visiting whenever I can.

We stayed at Sue's in our way up the garden route and it was just what we needed! The hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived, the property fit our family of 4 perfectly and it really was a lovely quant little flat. The surroundings were amazing - so beautiful. Would happily come back!

From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed — the hosts greeted us warmly and had thoughtfully left snacks, a bottle of wine, and even a delicious cake for us to enjoy. What a gem of a place! Waking up to that stunning view and being just a stone’s throw from the lagoon was such a treat. It’s the perfect spot for families with young kids. The house was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped—with a cozy fireplace that made chilly nights extra special. The swimming pool and bikes were a great bonus. What a lovely place! Brenda is a fantastic host, she made us feel right at home; the cottage is comfortable and homely on a wonderfully peaceful farm in the Karoo. Dusty the lab was super friendly and took us on a lovely stroll around the farm which was just what we needed after having spent the day in the car. The braai pack Brenda supplied for our dinner was delicious and we had a lovely evening, enjoying the spectacular sunset and taking in the awe-inspiring night sky of the Karoo.

Such an awesome place. Beautiful location and definitely best suited in summer. The driveway is abit tricky to park so no learner drivers. Caretaker is such a nice guy! See you guys soon

The house was absolutely fabulous. We were 8 people and the house has plenty is space to comfortably accommodate all of us. It is also tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was completely safe and near many attractions including restaurants. We highly recommend the place and would not hesitate for one minute to book the place again. Beautiful. The view from the deck was just breathtaking. the ( pool) snooker table and table tennis was a winner. Swimming pool stunning is stunning. It was just too cold for swimming. The bookshelf is amazing. Much to choose from
