Vacation rentals with lake access in Eastern Algarve

We had a pleasant stay, the place is quiet, the house and these outbuildings are great and very well equipped, it's simple, nothing is missing. I also wanted to thank Sergio and Vincent for their kindness and responsiveness. We will definitely come back.

We had a great week at this Vale do Rei. Quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the Algarve, surrounded by eucalyptus and lands that Christiane cultivates with love. The place is perfect (even better than in the photos and much bigger than it looks). Very well equipped, fresh and subtly decorated. The bedding is comfortable. Suitable for children (we were there with our 4 year old daughter). Common spaces further enhance the experience. A car is essential; nevertheless, you will find everything you need at 10min, in the village located at the bottom of the valley. Christiane is infinite kindness and availability. His sense of detail and warmth make us feel like friends of family. Another huge thank you for everything.

Really Nice place. Clean, decorated nicely, comfortable. Very friendly host, the lady who let us in absolutely loved our baby and was so sweet with him. Lovely town, and the near islands are gorgeous.

Me and my partner stayed 2 nights and it was perfect for what we needed! Peaceful, spacious and a lovely end to our holiday! Priscilla and Bruna were so lovely and very informative! Will be back if ever in the area again!

A spacious house just a few mintues walk from the waterfront, restaurants, markets, the ferry, the train station and other attractions. Great private open space on the rooftop. I highly recommend the place.

This place can be described as compact, saying that it’s cozy and in a location that’s perfect. I personally always look for a good shower, comfortable bed and walkable to town. This home from home ticks all those boxes. José is the most responsive host I’ve dealt with, thankful to him for the early check in. The biggest compliment you can give someone, is by saying I would give my repeat business, and I would 😊 Tips, restaurant opposite front door, it has top rated views on trip advisor, closes at 10pm. Coffee bar in same street, expensive and if from USA you won’t rate their coffee. Loved Lagos and will return.

This was a great base for a holiday in Tavira. The accommodation was perfect in every way - spotlessly clean and tidy with well thought out decor. We particularly loved the well equipped kitchen. Manuel, our host was very responsive and even though we got to Tavira quite late, his Dad was there to meet and greet us. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Hallo, we stayed at the property at the end of September/early October and immediately felt at home there. We were warmly and uncomplicatedly received, everything was clean and well appointed. If we were missing something, we could contact Andrea via mobile phone and she took care of it immediately. The property and surroundings were very nice, quiet and well maintained. We really enjoyed finding a piece of nature and tranquility there and greeting the chickens, sheep and cats every day and found it very nice to see how much the owners love the animals and nature. It was perfect for coming down and relaxing. The property is also a great starting point for trips to the beach or to the nearby places with beautiful restaurants. We highly recommend it!!

We had a lovely welcome from Joao. He showed us around the property and told us about the area. The house has been beautifully renovated and was comfortable and spotlessly clean. At the side there is short path that leads directly to the beach. There is a nice and reasonable beach bar on the dunes and sun beds can be hired. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the veranda for breakfast and in the evenings.

This was one of the best stocked rentals I have ever stayed in. It has a very large balcony with great views of the water. I did not have a car so having needed amenities (grocery store, train) close by was important. There is a nice boardwalk that runs in front of the building with lots of restaurants, shops and a local fresh fish and vegetable market nearby. You can see the Spar mini market from the balcony. The train station is about a 15 minute walk, but would recommend Uber if you have luggage. I walked to the train and went to Tavira for the day. The host, Tomas, was absolutely amazing. Great communication and provided flexible check-in and check-out which was appreciated. It is very obvious he is concerned for his guests and wants them to have the best experience possible. Highly recommend!!

This is a gorgeous apartment, overlooking the fabulous Monte Gordo beach. The weather was a bit chilly until the last couple days, so we didn't get quite as much "sitting on the deck" time as we would have liked, but that is Mother Nature at work. Odete's apartment was perfect for the 4 of us, but it would easily accommodate twice that many. We loved it and had a terrific time.

We very much enjoyed our stay here near the beach in Galé for almost two weeks and would gladly return. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped (the kitchen had many extra appliances, even a blender), and regularly cleaned. The humidity of being near the beach is managed by modern ACs in all rooms. Although there are not windows with outside views because the apartment is on a corner by the roundabout, plenty of light comes in through the two living room windows and very large window doors to the patio in both rooms. We greatly enjoyed the private patio and grilling. Some normal street noise is audible in the living room and mostly just during the day; we were not bothered by it and did not hear anything while sleeping. Praia da Galé Oeste is just across the street and a short walk on the boardwalk, which you can take for a scenic walk all the way to Armaçao de Pêra. Nuno was a very responsive and proactive host, with many recommendations for the area. Thank you!!

The apartment was exactly as pictured—modern, clean, and comfortable with beautiful views. The location was walkable, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. We appreciated the responsiveness of the host and the thoughtful welcome gift—it was a lovely touch! The recommendations provided were appreciated. That said, there were a couple of things that could be improved. Directions to the apartment were a bit tricky to follow, and the 6 PM check-in time felt quite late compared to my experiences over 8 years of staying in Airbnbs around the world. We were surprised to find that some necessities weren’t provided. For a 3-night stay with 4 guests, only 4 coffee pods and a few mismatched tea bags were available, which seemed more like leftovers than intentional provisions. There were also no paper towels or basic cooking staples (beyond salt and pepper). Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but a few small improvements could make the experience even better.

Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

We spent a month in André's house and had a blast. The house is in a great location for those who seek tranquility and nature, but also close enough to shops, restaurants and beaches. It was spot-on clean and has a fireplace for those colder days. Comfortable and huge bed. André was super-responsive, friendly, and helpful. It was a great stay overall!

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.

A lovely place to stay! It felt very comfortable, the design was fun, and we had the best dinner of our trip at their restaurant! Would come again!

This house has a good energy and was designed to do so. The pictures do not do it justice. It has everything we can need and everything went well. I will return without thinking :-)

We liked everything about the stay in casa Mimosa. It sure isn’t a place to party, it is a location to enjoy peace and quiet. Casa mimosa house is divided to two halves, but it isn’t a problem at all - there is enough privacy and terraces are located separately. The house is well equipped and clean. Lovely garden that you can explore freely. Sometimes there is a baker who brings fresh bread to the reception area. Prem welcomed us kindly and took us and our luggage to the house, recommended local hiking trails, restaurants etc. It was wonderful to relax in total peacefulness, the sleep quality was epic.

I've stayed at Anabela's a few years back and loved it that I came back this year. Anabela is lovely and she has uograded her place in the kast years with apool area. I love the remote Location and the mood around her place, Its is cosy with many places to hang out in hammocks. You can BBQ, there is even a Pizza oven. I can only highly recommend this charming house.

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.
