well maintained rooms with great kitchen facilities. Taxi services provided was nice. The apartment is family friendly.

Though didn't meet the host Sanskriti but she was always available on phone. Her father took good care of us. The apartment is new and clean. View of the mountains and valley from the windows were stunning. Taxi stand from the property is closeby albeit a steep climb of about 66 steps and further four floors climb to the apartment was bit challenging. On arrival the host was kind enough to help us carry our luggage to the apartment. Overall it was a very nice and memorable experience for us.

Had a wonderful stay at Tsewang’s place. He is a very responsive and helpful host, helped us with almost everything we asked for. The place is at an awesome location with serene views.

The Description does justice to the actual place, however expected the place to be a bit more spacious it was a snug fit for 7 people. pros Clean place responsive host good location as food is easily accessible cons the neighbours were a bit noisy WiFi has relatively low speed (4mbps) the property is located in a small street so big cars plan accordingly overall good value for money and a very good host would recommend and stay again

Location - 5/5 The biggest advantage of this place is its unbeatable location—right on MG Road and just opposite Lal Bazaar. Perfect for families, especially with elderly parents, as everything is nearby and there's minimal walking required. Property - 5/5 Clean, well-maintained, and beautifully done. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of toys for kids were a bonus. Food - 5/5: A big plus is that the host, Khagesh ji, has an in-house restaurant called Desi Bites, which serves tasty food. No need to go outside for meals. Hospitality - 5/5: Hosts Khagesh ji, Kripa ji, and uncle ji are warm, polite, and always ready to help. Overall: Highly recommended for families visiting Gangtok!

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

I have been to many locations, stayed at various places. But I can surely rate my stay at Mr. Kashyap's Maple house, as the best till date. In this era of capitalism where marketing is more and service is less; here my experience was opposite. I got more than what I was promised. A house bigger than what it looked in photos. Rooms cleaner than what was promised and the host more courteous than what I could have imagined. The whole building belongs to Mr. Kashyap and this apartment is on lower ground floor with a breathtaking view of mountains right outside bedrooms. A big smart tv, super fast wifi, clean kitchen, board games for kids. You name it they have it and thus the place looks like a home away from home. My family was also lucky to be treated royally by the host with elaborate dinner of local cuisines. This place is just 4 km away from famous MG road. Hence the place ticks all the right boxes and more. I recommend it strongly.

We stayed in the apartment for 5 nights. The host was very kind and took care of everything we asked for. He also helped us find drivers for trips out of town and for laundry services. The apartment is in a central but quiet location. The rooms and kitchen were clean, spacious and comfortable. The apartment's balcony is very wide and comfortable. It overlooks a stunning view and is very pleasant to sit on at all hours of the day.

The place was really great. All three rooms were neat and clean. Only one room has a balcony so there might be a fight for it 😂. View was amazing from the property as well. Location was the city center so everything is at a walkable distance.

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

Our stay at this 3BHK flat was absolutely fantastic! We had a really good experience from start to finish. All the amenities were top-notch and worked perfectly. The host Uppi was incredibly responsive and so supportive, even helping us with things outside of the accommodation. Truly friendly and highly recommended.

This place was new in listing but we either ways went ahead and booked it. We wanted a place with basic amenities to stay away from new year crowd. Starting from the time we booked this place till the time we left, Mr. and Mrs. Gyamtso were always there to help. A perfect host indeed. Though we did not meet them personally but they were very responsive over chats and calls. Their care taker Sanjeev Bhaiya was always a call away if we needed anything. The view from the balcony makes it all worth it. The taxi stand is just below the apartment and you can get a shared cab to MG road in 30 rupees only and it’s a 15 mins drive. It’s a Very clean and organised place. The property is on 5th floor but easy to climb with slow pace. If you have luggage, Sanjeev bhaiya will help you get that to and fro across the floor. A must stay when in Gangtok.
