Top floor, historic listed barn -The Scantlings

Ellergill House Barn is a Grade II Listed building in a scenic, rural location in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It dates from the early 19th century and was lovingly restored in 2019. The Scantlings provides luxury 3 bedroom accommodation. The main bedroom with en suite shower room can be used as a double or a twin. Adjacent to this room with an internal door is a small twin room. There is additionally a third bedroom which is a large double and a family bathroom. The open plan kitchen, dining and living area is extremely spacious with a wood burning stove making it an ideal space for friends and family to get together. If additional space is required, two further bedrooms, an additional bathroom and extra living space can be booked on the ground floor of the barn. The photos for this are shown under Events Room.

It is nestled in the quiet hamlet of Thorlby, just a short distance from the market town of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Come and take in the stunning views on your doorstep, watch the many garden birds visiting the feeder as you sit and have your morning coffee on the patio. The only thing you can hear is 'quiet'. The hardest thing you will have to do is decide what you want to see or do.

Heart of the village this stylish place is a home from home. Outdoor Electric car charger. Stone fireplace with cosy stove. Lovely shower room with exposed stone.. Kitchen fully equipped. Outside seating when the weather permits. All to make your stay enjoyable. It’s on the pennine way and there are some lovely walks. Bus stops either side of the road take you to the nearest towns Skipton or Clitheroe both busy market towns please note there is a small charge for pets.
