Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Windy Top Cottage ~ A Romantic "European" Getaway

The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to 'summer' in the early part of the 20th Century. The cottage was the quarters for the domestic staff while the family was in North Granby. With an elevation of 970, we offer clean, fresh country air!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay with direct access to the lower Moodus Reservoir. The backyard leads out to the lake with a small beach area (fits approximately two lawn chairs). Sit on the patio by the fire pit and enjoy the view or grab a kayak, pedal boat, or paddleboard and enjoy your time directly on the lake.
