Paul was a wonderful host! He was great with communication, proactive, and accommodating. The cabin was beautiful and awesome location right on the marina. We would highly recommend to our family and friends!

The cabin is lovely, with a great wrap-around deck overlooking a bucolic scenery complete with a river and cascades. Jessica was always helpful and responsive and the house is comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen which is unexpected in an Airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We had such an awesome month at Stephanie and Choy’s home. They are extremely kind and generous. We loved the home and felt very comfortable there! It was a great area and close to things to do. I’m so thankful to them both for sharing their home with us! Thank you!

What a peaceful place to retreat to, before and after our son's wedding day. Listening to the frogs in the pond and the peepers in the trees was just what I needed. The cabin itself was so interesting, everywhere I looked I found something new to appreciate. The multiple decks overlook a variety of views (none of next-door houses!), and we spent a lot of time on all of them. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, spacious kitchen, felt like home (only better). Lorraine was very quick to answer any questions, and even checked on us to be sure we were aware of the Swing Bridge closings. Great host. Hoping to return with more people (we never even used the upstairs) so we can enjoy everything this place has to offer that we didn't find time to get to. :)

I would recommend this stay to anyone who needs getaway escape right on the lake as pictured!! It was a great family bonding trip We enjoyed it all Very close (10 min drive) to Torrington for groceries restaurants or any necessities or activities outside of cabin

Absolutely beautiful property spotted with ponds and open cozy nooks. Little cabin was very neat and picturesque. Common space in the farmhouse was nicely renovated.

The cottage was very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The space was perfect for one to two people. Close to many fun things to do in the Eastern CT area.

We had a wonderful stay at this historic cabin in a beautiful location surrounded by trees next to a peaceful lake. Super cozy fireplace in the cabin, BBQ grill and fire pit outside made for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time and am already planning to return in summer for my vacation. The cottage was lovely, clean, comfortable and Michelle is an excellent host. My dog and I loved the cottage and walking around the beautiful area on the water. I was surprised at how functional the kitchen was and the loft was great for storage. WiFi is individual nodes each cottage and was excellent for work and play.

Michelle was always very prompt in communications. She definitely met requested needs. Excellent host!! Will be booking with her again!!!

This cottage was the perfect place to stay while we visited my family! It was the perfect size for me and my partner and our dog. Entry into the cottage was super easy and the area around the cottages is beautiful and so peaceful.

fuimos como equipo y compañeros de trabajo a compartir un rato juntos, nos la pasamos tan bien que quisimos quedarnos más tiempo pero lamentablemente ya no había vacante. En resumen nos encantó el alojamiento y el área es bastante tranquilo y hermoso sobre todo para los amantes a la naturaleza.

Angela's place is beautiful. I woke up every morning to the sound of birds singing. It was so peaceful and quiet. There are beautiful horses on the property. The sauna is awesome, and the lake a treat. Angela is charming and helpful. Very quick to respond to questions. The cabin was perfect for my husband, me, and our two dogs. It might be tight for 4 adults. If you like nature, this is perfect. The cabin is half an hour away from most sightseeing locations.
