Lakeside Annexe in hamlet next to the K&A canal

The Annexe is attached to our house which is on the edge of a small hamlet bordering the Kennet and Avon canal in the heart of the stunning Pewsey Vale. It overlooks our small private lake which is host to a variety of water birds including our beautiful pair of resident swans. We have some wonderful walks directly from the house which include two excellent village pubs. The location is ideal for trips to Bath, Salisbury, Oxford and London (fast train from Pewsey) plus many local attractions.

Old Chapel Wootton Rivers

A beautifully renovated, wonderfully positioned converted chapel with large private garden in one of the area's prettiest villages. Wootton Rivers is within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, with beautiful walks along the Kennet & Avon Canal, the Ridgeway and Savernake Forest. The village has a 16th century thatched pub, very close to the Chapel. We are also on the National Cycle Network route 4 and near to great restaurants such as Stein's, and Dan's in Marlborough.

The Cottage is sat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where the Pewsey Vale meets the North Wessex Downs. The Farm is criss-crossed with footpaths, bridleways and open grass pastures so hiking, running, riding and picnicking are easy to come by, as well as home to Ponies, pigs, alpacas and other farmyard animals.

The first floor annexe is accessed via a covered external staircase. Home from home, cosy but spacious one bed (2 guests) accommodation with living space and kitchen. The balcony is perfect for morning coffee/evening drinks (weather allowing) with far reaching views over the Hampshire countryside. Our cosy Barn is furnished to a high standard and is situated close to the main house in nine acres of grounds and within walking distance to two idyllic villages which have excellent dog friendly pubs. It is ideally positioned if you are seeking a relaxing break with many stunning walks and bike rides. (Bikes not included!). There is an EV charger located at the Barn.
