The 300-year-old, cozy house is located directly on the river Dokkumer Ee in a friendly neighborhood. From the terrace (also usable as a parking space) you can see ships passing by. You can visit the mill and buy groceries at the bakery around the corner. There is a small local history museum, refreshments and a flower shop. The cities of Dokkum and Leeuwarden are easily accessible, as are the Wadden Sea coast and the ferry ports to the islands of Ameland and Schiermonikoog.

This centrally located vacation home in Appelscha has all the comforts. The spacious luxury house is right in the center on the canal, near the woods and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

Guesthouse De Wetterwille was originally a garage with an upper floor, but has now been converted into a guesthouse with all the amenities of a modern studio. The bathroom has a spacious shower cabin, bathroom furniture and toilet. The small but cozy living room is furnished with a complete kitchen with stove, fridge and oven, a small dining area and two armchairs. On the upper floor with loft is a double box spring. You have a private entrance and a simple patio.

A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

The Boothuis is located directly on open water and is newly 2022 modernly furnished for a pleasant stay and equipped with all facilities. Here you can walk and cycle along the water or through the woods. Museum or shopping, this is already 3 km away. It is also possible to rent a fishing boat/sloop/sup/sailboat/bicycles/a charging station for charging the car/hottube.

Smederij Sterk Accommodation

Lodging "Smederij Sterk" is located in the old city forge of J. Sterk. The Frisian forests are ideal for beautiful bike rides and walks. In addition, Drachten, Leeuwarden and Groningen are in the vicinity. The pipo wagon has a view over the countryside. There are several hiking trails and cycling routes that pass the plot, such as the Friese Wouden path and routes 51, 21 and 34.
