Relax in the oasis of this wholly remodeled 1920s Craftsman-style guest house, dubbed the Boat House due to its proximity to the LA River. Impeccably designed brick industrial with intimate light-filled interiors, the Boat House has its own entrance and shares a large yard, fire pit, lap pool, and hot tub with the main house 50 feet away. NOTE: Euro-style kitchen includes refrigerator, toaster oven, portable electric cooktop (two burners), microwave, electric kettle for making coffee, teas, pots, pans, plates, etc. Street parking is usually never an issue. Please read the online manual. Modern, comfortable, loft-like space in hip East LA hood, Glassell Park! (FYI, it's not a real a boat house), but a unique 1920s brick building on a quiet residential street. We call it the "Boat House" because of close proximity to the LA River. The building has polished concrete floors, wood beams, mid-century design, custom copper faucets, custom OSB cabinetry & one-of-a-kind art & furnishings. There's a cozy fire-pit area right outside the door to enjoy as well as a pool, spa and fruit trees. NO FILM SHOOTS ALLOWED. PLEASE DON'T INQUIRE UNLESS PLANNING TO PAY 4X THE RATE. We lovingly designed, carefully curated and restored the guest house. We so appreciate you treading kindly with respect to the furnishings and items that share the space - (ie, please don't take the vintage pottery outdoors), typewriter (just for show), artwork, collection of books & furniture. PLEASE, NO WET TOWELS or bathing suits hung anywhere but on the hooks provided or in bathroom. There are blinds in the rooms for your privacy. The building is historic so thank you for being mindful and not putting anything other than Toilet paper in the toilet. Thank you!! The guest house shares a spacious back yard with the main house where we live. The backyard has fruit trees & a cozy fire pit. You have a private entry through a side gate. Ample street parking. We're an active family with two small kids. We live in the main house on site. We also have a chill labradoodle dog named Mel & two outdoor kitties. My hubby and I are both documentary filmmakers & have travelled extensively. We love hosting folks from all over so please say hello during your stay! We've provided blinds in the guest house and respect your privacy (we won't be too loud too early). We share our backyard with you and love to enjoy the outdoor space. We swim often, BBQ and use the firepit. Feel free to join us! (if the pool safety net is in place, please don't try and remove it yourself, thx). Please let us know if you'd like to use the pool and/or spa. The pool is heated by the sun but the spa can be quickly heated for your enjoyment. Just ask! Occasionally, we host friends, brunch & parties. Again, feel free to join in! We're easy going like that. Someone is usually on site to help with your needs or just a phone call or text away. Enjoy your stay! The guest house is located behind the main house on a quiet street, close to great coffee shops and restaurants. East LA is both hip and full of colorful diversity. The location is convenient to Silverlake, Los Feliz, Griffith Park, and Downtown. Ride sharing works great! We recommend it - Lyft or Uber. Also, various metro lines are located a couple miles away. And, Enterprise car rental has locations nearby. We're conveniently located near the 5 and 210 freeways. We live in a very ethnically diverse neighborhood. A few times a year some of our neighbors have parties: Quinceaneras, birthdays, Tomborazo bands, etc. We've never found them to be intrusive & rather enjoy the festive music!

Our comfy studio guesthouse is nestled under a beautiful oak tree. Walking distance to Pasadena's vibrant, bustling Playhouse District. Free WiFi, TV (Prime and Netflix), and convenient on-site parking. Enjoy the shared patio with sofas. We have a microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, tea kettle, countertop burners, toaster oven, and fridge. However, we had to remove the kitchen sink, so we provide both hard dishes and disposable dishes, in case you don't want to have to wash them in the bathroom.

This beautifully designed, recently constructed modern guest studio is a separate, stand-alone structure from the primary residence, offering access to a shared swimming pool and dedicated off-street parking on a secure property. A curated original collection of art and photography books is available for guest use.

Modern luxury guest house. Walking distance to all that South Pas. has to offer. Relax in this calm, modern and stylish space all in a safe family neighborhood. Space sleeps four and offers 1 bedroom with a queen bed and two daybeds in the livingroom. The larger daybed is twin sized and the smaller daybed is adequate for a person about 5 ft or less. The bathroom has beautiful Italian Arabescato marble and cool turkish limestone. It also has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

This is a serene, solar powered studio guesthouse surrounded by a flowering native garden (with veggies too) with full kitchen, set on 1/2 acre property - walking distance to Occidental College and York Blvd bars, shops & restaurants. We are 1 block from Highland Park (NELA)! Vintage appliances in the kitchen with a bathroom/shower as well as an outdoor shower set beneath a fruit filled Pomegranate tree.

It is two, beautiful tree-lined blocks from the bustling cafes, restaurants, and shopping along Colorado Blvd., 5 mins from Occidental College, 10 mins from the Rose Bowl, Dodger Stadium, Pasadena or Glendale, and 20 mins from Downtown Los Angeles. The studio is ideal for an individual or couple. It is detached from the main house, with its own entrance and keypad lock.

Fabulous one bedroom with a view!!

A beautiful Mid Century home with fantastic views! We even have a view of the "Rock" (Eagle Rock)! Your entry is private and you'll have your own deck. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave (no stove), toaster-oven and Nespresso. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and grocery stores! Lots of street parking right in front of our home... no permits required! We also have guest-suite with a private bedroom - "Eagle Rock Guest Room with a View" listed on Airbnb.

Little Los Angeles Hideaway

Glass doors open onto a patio with lush trees, succulents, lounge chairs and a gas-operated firepit. Our studio in-law has a midcentury modern meets tree house feel to it. This little hideaway is completely detached from the main house and has its own separate entrance. A private bathroom is adjacent to the studio. While there isn't a stove for cooking, there is a small refrigerator, freezer, electric kettle, Kerug coffee maker, and microwave in the space.

Classic and Convenient Bungalow in Pasadena

Cozy traditional 1920s California bungalow, complete with a Batchelder fireplace, tucked behind the main house built in 1903 by famed architect Frederick Roehrig. Centrally located off of Orange Grove Blvd. Walk to the Rose Parade, the Arroyo Seco, Huntington Hospital, Art Center South Campus, and Old Pasadena. A brisk walk will take you to the Rose Bowl, Gamble House, or the Wrigley Mansion. The Huntington Library is only a short drive away.

A bright, tranquil space with a clean, modern style, perfect for relaxing after a day of work or exploring Los Angeles. Located in a quiet, residential part of Highland Park, with York Blvd within walking distance and Figueroa Street a short drive away. Most guests use Uber or a car to explore beyond the neighborhood. Downtown LA, Dodger Stadium, Pasadena, Hollywood, Glendale, and Burbank are all easily accessible by car.
