Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

On one of the most beautiful rural roads just outside the village of Sint Jansklooster is the renovated humpback farm from 1667. We have furnished the front house of the farm as an attractive accommodation for 2 guests who are fond of peace and privacy. The comfortably furnished front house has its own entrance. You have access to 2 canoes and a men's and women's bicycle. The many cycling, hiking and canoeing routes allow you to experience the Weerribben-Wieden National Park in all seasons.

Sheltered under a wooden embankment, you can look towards the Fochtelooërveen and into the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.
