The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee you can sleep in, have been preserved. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower at an additional cost, you can relax wonderfully.

Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. This railway was established in 1899 and closed in 1945. This railway line is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking space, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

News: “An 't Noordende” is currently busy building a private swimming pool that our guests can also use during the high season. The 12x4 swimming pool is wonderfully heated and available from May 2026! On the edge of the Dwingelderveld is our renovated thatched farm "An 't Noordende", overlooking the Es grounds on the beautiful village of Dwingeloo. Our farm can accommodate up to 10 people. It is very suitable for families with kids. Hottub optional.

Het Buitenlokaal - Masterful overnight stay in the Drenthe countryside. Enjoy peace and space in a brand new cottage in our old school just outside Dwingeloo. Where the schoolchildren used to play in the gym of the school in the past, apartment 3 has recently been built. Suitable for 6 people. The tourist villages of Dwingeloo and Diever are within cycling distance. You will stay near various nature reserves where you can cycle and walk for miles.

The airbnb is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland.
