Our luxuriously cosy little cottage has everything you could wish for after a day exploring the nearby woods, adjacent North Yorkshire Moors or easily accessed coast. Perhaps a relaxing soak in the feature double ended bath? You can cosy up in front of the log burning stove or step out for something to eat and drink at one of the local bars and restaurants. If you prefer to cook, the kitchen has all you need. The cottage has been renovated throughout with a feature mezzanine bed and bath suite.

Located a short drive to the seaside town of Redcar and Market town of Guisborough, within 1/2 hours drive to the North York Moors National Park and Whitby and within 1 hours drive to the Yorkshire Dales. An abundance of wild birds are to be found in the gardens of our cottage.

The Retreat is on a very quiet street, it's a great central location for the historic market town of Guisborough, the Yorkshire Moors and the beautiful North East Coast. You will find a Guest Information booklet on top of the fridge in the kitchen with lots of useful information and there are plenty of leaflets of things to do and see in the surrounding areas - please take a look!!!! Please can you make sure that your furry friends do not climb on the sofas or beds thank you.
