Kings View Farm ‘The Cottage’ - side of Mt Roland

TiffanyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was our favourite stay in Tasmania. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated in beautiful hills. We were welcomed into the cottage with ANZAC biscuits. Tracy and Quinton were wonderful host, sharing their farm and beautiful animals that we had the joy of petting and feeding. They were so kind and went above and beyond providing some local produce and stocked kitchen. We had so much fun at this farm stay and exploring nearby areas, a must book and we hope to return!

Romantic Hideaway Stargazing Bliss near Cradle Mt

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My wife and I spent a few nights in Jason’s place while exploring Cradle Mountain, Ulverstone, and Devonport. The heating was especially great during the cold off-season. We enjoyed the outdoor bathtub, tv, and kitchen amenities. We also enjoyed the sheep that would greet us as we drove in. Would happily stay again.

Thornby Farm stay

JessRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thornby is a beautiful property with surrounding hills and a beautiful landscape. The old farmhouse was beautifully maintained and had everything we required for our stay. The kids were able to wander around, play in the garden and at night snuggle up in the living room with the toasty fireplace and a movie. The property is in a great location. We travelled to Marakoopa caves, cradle mointain and the christmas hills raspberry farm during our stay. Only 30 minutes from Launceston it was the perfect place to base ourselves to explore the area. Ann and Graham were wonderful hosts. The scone recipe and fresh raspberry jam in the fridge was a hit with the kids too. I'm glad we stayed 3 nights as it gave us a good opportunity to really immerse ourselves in the property and it's beautiful backdrop. We would happily stay here again.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful and thoughtfully presented space. So much room, easy to find a cozy or sunny reading spot. Comfy bed, great black out curtains for sleeping in. Wood heaters east to use but back up heat pumps useful. Kitchen well set up and we enjoyed eating in. Enjoyed TV and book selection. Thanks Shanna

Eagles Nest II Luxury Private Spa Property

JackieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
If you're looking for a place to breathe, relax, contemplate, reflect, play, chat and spend quality time with family and friends, Eagles Nest 2 is perfect. With Mt Roland and a big wide sky as the grand backdrop view from all angles of the house, and with cathedral height windows celebrating every inch of the view, being inside and outside feels seamless. Eagles Nest is an experience. All the rooms are themed and the decor interestingly eclectic. The beds are very comfy. The place is clean. The kitchen has everything one needs. And then there's the outdoor spa (where you run your outdoor bath) tucked discreetly away for a relaxing soak. I think spectacular is the best word to describe the view and the night sky. We even saw a meteor shower from our bed which will be forever etched in my mind, with Mt Roland silhouetted in the background and a squillion million stars twinkling in the night sky (admittedly it was 4.30am - I'd woken to visit the bathroom - lucky timing!). So nice!

The Coach House on family farm

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a beautiful place to spend “down time” at with plenty of room for everyone - there were 8 of us. Everything was spotless when we walked in and we were greeted with delicious local sourdough bread & butter…just what we needed after a long drive. The pantry was stocked with all the needed herbs, spices, sauces, oil and lots of other condiments that make the cooking process easier. We loved the cows, church and the farm land…and we got to see our very first Fly Agaric mushrooms 🍄 We all wished we had a longer stay and highly recommend this beautiful accommodation. Thank you Ginny for adding that personal touch, by coming down to say hi.

Your off-grid escape in Tasmania - Camp Nowhere

MoniqueRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The nowhere cabin is exactly as described. The perfect retreat for 2 away from the world where you can just unwind and be still. Perfectly placed to get out and about further afield to do big walks. But we were happy to hide from the cold and rain inside with a big fire. The decor and styling is so perfect and makes the cabin feel like home. So many little touches that are genius. Ashley let us check out late as the cleaner was going to be late coming in. Just such an amazing time was had.
