Bright Tiny House

It is a Tiny house, 20 m2, made entirely of wood, with a warm atmosphere. Upon entering you will find the living room with large windows, where there is a sofa bed and a wood stove. On the left is a kitchen area with a table. And on the right a small bathroom, with shower, enjoy the mosaic, and sink. Both with hot water. And with a compost. You go upstairs via a wooden staircase. There, under the roof, are two single beds, which can also be joined together. Only under the ridge is there headroom of 1.80 m! It can be uncomfortable if you have difficulty with hips or knees. The vision of caring, for each other, for the place where you are, is important to us. This means that the functioning of the house wants to radiate that. The guests take care of the house during the time they are there, and ensure that the house welcomes the next residents. They find the house as it was lovingly left. Everyone brings their own sheets and towels, and therefore does the cleaning yourself upon departure. We also invite you to leave a message in the guestbook, to share your experience and tips with future travelers. The balcony overlooking the garden has unobstructed views of the garden, a large orchard and the small massifs of Lucheron and Haut-Siron on the horizon. Quiet, facing south, very bright, it overlooks a wooded and flowery courtyard. Cussy is very well located to enjoy the Morvan in any season. Hiking, equestrian, or mountain biking trails pass in front of the house. The lakes and sites to visit are all very close, accessible on foot, by bicycle, or by car. Our detached house has a fantastic view. The house is beautifully located in a valley on a dead-end road. From the wooden terrace, you can observe the wildlife with the naked eye. Deer, birds of prey, foxes... And not to forget the starry sky. The house has a fenced garden that is extremely suitable for your dog. From the house, there are various hiking trails in the beautiful forests and surrounding villages. The bakery is within walking distance for a French breakfast, among other things.

Our Scale

A lovely vacation home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on 2nd floor, fan on ground floor. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home.
