It’s close to a lot of reservoirs. They are great for fishing, swimming, and boating in the summer. It is central to great hunting areas. We are 1 hr from Vernal and 45 min. from the base of the rockies and book cliffs. Whether you come to play and hunt or just a family vacation, the river house is perfect.

Rancho Sin Vacas is a slice of Hanna. 12-acre property on the N. Fork of the Duchesne River at the base of the Ashley National Forest in Hanna, UT, 78 miles east of SLC. The 1/4 mile of river frontage is registered as "Blue Ribbon" by the State. The cabin has a kitchen, dining room, living room with newer sofa sleeper, bathroom (new shower), bedroom, bedroom cantilevered over river, Huge Front deck, and fireplaces and fire pit. Ponds, canals, alpacas and a Llama, named Osama bin Lama.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood our area has endless outdoor activities just minutes from your front door. These include High Uintah wilderness trails, world famous fishing in near by lakes and rivers, hiking, biking, and ATVing to name a few. Plenty of space to park your camp trailers, boats and toys. This 1928 coal miner's home feels a little like going to Grandma's house. It is localed on a quiet street with pretty views from the hill behind the house. Helper's Historic downtown is an approx 1/4 mile walk to the east (down the historic staircase, under the freeway tunnel & over the swinging bridge). The town is filled with character & history. It is a great stay for a small family or a romantic getaway for a couple looking to recharge. Well-behaved pets are welcome for a small fee.

Historic 1911 Miner's Cottage - Winter Quarters

The Miner's Cottages in Historic Helper, Utah were built in 1911 to house miners from 27 different countries. Recent renovations have retained their historical ambiance, combined with newly restored modern conveniences. Beautiful front porch is a perfect place to watch incredible sunsets and meet locals. The kitchen is equipped with high quality cooking gear and the bed, linens, towels are all high quality. Fiber optic high speed WIFI with plenty of speed for streaming.

The 211 Getaway

The Getaway is located just 120 southeast of Salt Lake City. Within walking distance to downtown historic Helper. Meander on the walkway by the river or visit some of the local shops along main street. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
