Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Dubuque County

The entire experience was great. The house and amenities were great. The host instructions were right on and no problems. I will definitely stay here again. Great house and location.

I was there for 2 days and something came up where I had to check in early. Kevin was very helpful and let us come in earlier. The house was spotless and very clean when we arrived. It was in a great location with lots to do. Overall, more than satisfied with my time here and would recommend it to anybody. I will definitely come back when I am in town.

I grew up in Saint donatus and know a lot of the locals down at Massey, it was an honor staying close to friends and family again. A remote location that captures the serenity and peacefulness of Iowa. I loved showing my wife and daughter the lands I used to call home.

My immediate family was looking for a location near Asbury for a extended family event and this location was excellent. It was easy to get to, plenty of privacy and quiet for our family. The house had a lot of space for my adult children and there two young boys. Having three living spaces to spread out was ideal. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. I just wish we could have spent more time to there. Mark was responded quickly to any messages we sent and were thankful that this house was available. I think anyone coming to town for the Dubuque County Fair would love the location.

This home is exactly how it is presented in the listing. The home is well stocked with plush towels and a variety of kitchen utensils. The bathrooms are brand new. The home was exceptionally clean. Kylie is very responsive with communication. She was super friendly and very easy to work with! We couldn’t have asked for a better host! She is great!

This is an outstanding place to stay! The house has all the amenities as described. It was in a great location, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting family. All the appliances are new! Both indoor and back yard were great settings to relax and enjoy!

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Drake House Properties, and my husband and I love it every single time!! This place was no exception to the others we stayed at the beautiful exposed brick, beautifully decorated, awesome location right in downtown Dubuque! The hot tub is amazing and the coffee shop right downstairs is DELICIOUS. I’m sure we will be back to stay again soon at one of these properties! :) we love the wide variety of things to do in/ and around Dubuque and this place is the BEST place to stay! Enjoyed our stay. The place was as described and host was proactive and responsive. Have stayed at Linsy’s places before and would again whenever we are in town.

We were in town for our granddaughter ‘s high school graduation. This was a wonderful place to stay with immediate family. Lots of room for extended family to get together, have some pizza and catch up. We went to Dubuque’s awesome Farmers Market, walked the river walk, Fourth Street elevator and ate great food in nearby restaurants. Nate was very responsive to questions we had and provided great instructions for checking in. This home has very unique architecture and great outdoor living space. Everyone said they hoped this place is still available in three years when the next grandkid graduates 😊

This property exceeded expectations in every way. The decor was thoughtfully curated and created such a welcoming atmosphere throughout the space. The host was incredibly responsive and communicative from booking through checkout, making the entire process seamless. The location was great….10 minutes away from odowntown attractions, restaurants, and shops, yet the neighborhood felt peaceful and safe. Would definitely book again and recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Our stay in Dubuque was fantastic, in large part to our stay at Linsy’s rental. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. It was also easily walkable to the 4th Street Elevator. We had a question about parking, and Linsy responded right away. We highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Dubuque area.

The picture does not do this room justice. Ann and Tom were so nice and such gracious hosts. And the room was wonderful. It had a great work area, a remote fireplace, and a very comfortable bed. And Ann and Tom have the sweetest dog! We felt at home right away, and they made by hubby's first stay in an AirBnB an excellent experience. We would definitely recommend these hosts and their lodgings to single travelers or a couple wanting a comfortable room and a great price!
